Gotta agree with this... Great theme. Mftr irrelevant, imo.

Metallica started as a retheme/homebrew pin and Stern ran with it.

Stern allegedly has Jaws License and perhaps the Jaws Retheme/ Homebrew will help push it into a potential production.

If they do it in a Classic likeness as they did with Jurassic Park, could be a hit.

To be honest with you, I’m very surprised there aren’t WAY more home brew pinball machines coming form the members on Pinside. The skills, ability, and knowledge is astounding. Pinside could create some of the worlds greatest pins.

I can't believe only a handful of people have asked for a Ramones pin , they're not the biggest band in the world , but they are perfect for pinball .

I know American Pinball offered out a challenge to all HomeBrew builders== make a complete game from scratch and they would pick out a winner to be then put in production. This was stated at Pinball Expo 2021 and given 1 year to come up with a game.

Not sure Stern would do this ( way too backed up/most likely not interested in original idea)

Same here BTTF is the absolute #1 theme for me and at these prices unless it’s a dream theme I can wait it out, Godzilla Prem/LE looks amazing and I’ve played a pro which is brilliant but I had no desire to jump in NIB as the theme doesn’t do a lot for me.

Pretty clear BTTF ain't happening, at this point. Not sure why some folks still seem to think it will magically come now, despite no signs saying otherwise.

I'm a BTTF true believer and convinced it will be Kapow's next title. But if Kapow releases something else, my hope will drop significantly and I'll use my earmarked cash for something else. I'll probably throw in the towel if nothing happens in 2022.

Question for people who think that BTTF is not coming (even though it is). What do you think is coming after Venom and before or after Bond? What do you think Elwins next pin is? Any ideas? Heard anything? Any random hopes/dreams?

I want BTTF or JAWS !! These titles could fit the next "Kapow" / Stern collaboration; but another comes to mind that I can see it being a "Kapow" collaboration... Harry Potter Pinball. I say this because for a long time everyone said Beatles Pinball would never happen...

I could also see a Black Panther or Thor or Dr. Strange Pin coming... or yet another Spider-Man feat. Tom Holland... yep... If the formula works for Stern why not. The next title I'm leaning heavy on a throwback theme / could be 007... that franchise has been around for a long time.

I could also see a re-theme from Jurassic Park to Jurassic World since the final installment will be this summer.

Avatar 2 is soon.. perhaps a revised Avatar Pin finally would get an LCD screen as that movie is non-stop CGI eye candy.

I think Venom is code name for Cobra Kai and that game is next for Eddy. Makes a lot of sense as Eddy so far has newer thenes for the younger generation. I do not think BTTF is coming from Stern in 2022. I think the Bond rumour came from Spectre (code name for Godzilla). They are just my thoughts. I am really looking forwarx to the "Whats coming from Stern in 2022" thread.

Man...Cobra Kai would be awesome! Very few themes being thrown around as likely releases get my juices flowing. Next to BTTF, I can't think of another theme I would want more than Cobra Kai/Karate Kid.

Did anyone see the show Billions on Showtime last night? There was a very prominent placement of a Back To The Future pinball machine in the background of two different scenes. It appeared to be the old 1990's version, but thought I'd share since there's been so much speculation on this. Perhaps somebody foreshadowing?
