Why consider only cornerstone games? Batman and Elvira take the same resources as any other games.

Where do you draw the line? If you want to include BM66, and Elvira, do you include The Beatles? That would make it 115 days between releases and move up the release date to about 30 April
Just Elvira and BM66? That moves things to 122 days and moves things to 6 May.
What about "the Pins" do they count? What about games released in a "The Pin" package like Heavy metal that are considered full games?
Should we count the Comic Book versions of Star Wars as a release?
How about the Beatles?
The Cornerstone only method gives a predicted release date for the next cornerstone game. When the Premium only games show up they tend to show up ahead of schedule in the prediction list. By leaving it as cornerstone only, we get better numbers. Looking back at old predictions about 1/2 are a few weeks early and the other 1/2 are a few weeks late.
The more you add in the quicker the release dates predicted.

This coincides with what we've heard from distributors on what Stern has on the line. There seems to be nothing scheduled for May. So there could be an announcement in April, then build and ship in May. Maybe Venom out in May, the Bond in Summer, and next Elwin in the Fall for Christmas sales again, maybe September rollout like AIQ and Godzilla.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:If you want to include BM66, and Elvira, do you include The Beatles?
I'd be interested in seeing those dates. There might be another special theme with the rumored Bond.
At any rate, thanks for putting together those dates. It's all speculative fun.

I would include any games except “The Pin”.
Quoted from Craziestsinge:That'd be amazing! Mum-Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
The sound effects in this show plus lightening/swords and Thundercats headquarters against the dark pyramid. Lots of great pinball content and toy potential!
Right on brother! I've posted this image before but this was a rough sketch I did last year with some ideas. Not to scale of course, but can you imagine the fun?!!! Mumm-Ra could emerge and rotate/transform like Champion Pub someone said. Extending sword, voice actor callouts...I'd buy an LE sight unseen, even over BTTF. So much potential.

McFarlane or nothing.

This is the Matrix pin I want .

Classic "work your way up to final boss" mechanic. Just re-theme Deadpool. It's almost too easy!
Quoted from Pinstein:Still want this.
Great. A game about nothing with with no modes and nothing to shoot for.
But maybe you just can't resist that cabinet side art?

With Zombie Yeti on the art its bound to look phenomenal.

get CGC on it they cant build anything !
perfect for them !
Ahhhh the music alone is worth the price of admission. Would be the most neurotic pin of all time. There could be a frenzy mode for every single character in the series haha Kramer frenzy, Costanza Frenzy, Newman frenzy, Soup Nazi frenzy, Bubble boy frenzy, Random girlfriend frenzy etc etc
Quoted from Pinstein:Still want this.

Quoted from jpd632:This whole Pokémon pinball machine back and forth makes me feel like Johnny Lawrence in Cobra Kai and people on here are the kids trying to tell me about the Internet. I see that pikachu and all I see is a little kids stuffed animal. Maybe it would be big with the under 40 crowd but to people who are not connected to its a child’s IP.
Sounds like we have no flippin idea what the next stern is, i will say we need another marvel pin about as much as we need another rock pin...
Quoted from frankmac:VENOM could be next but i would love a surprise.
Quoted from Pin_Fandango:my money is on venom with Eddy? Shoot something 3 times..... passsssss!
I will laugh my ass off if Venom turns out to be a code name for another pin.
Quoted from littlecammi:Great. A game about nothing with with no modes and nothing to shoot for.
A nothing mode would be really interesting in pinball. Try to do nothing while using the flippers as little as possible. It last for 10 seconds and your mode score increases as long as no switch is hit and you’re not using the flippers. Every time a switch hits the mode bonus loses points. Loses more for certain switch hits. Put the game into ball search mode during nothing mode and you cash out the max bonus of the mode and end mode early.
Quoted from adam12hicks:I'm holding out for Toy Story.
Wait... wrong thread?
Me too. But we should probably leave now!
Quoted from PinballManiac40:I will laugh my ass off if Venom turns out to be a code name for another pin.
I’m calling it now. Venom is code word for…

Or just using flippers makes you lose points. Holding the flippers drains points quickly. That'd be interesting.
Just blew my mind. So true LOL

What if Venom is code name for Harry Potter? Snakes are a prevalent theme through that series.
Yeah, I know. Very wishful thinking.

when you want to smell like a hero instead of an anti-hero
Venom = Reptile = Mortal Kombat
This is the way. (Then again, with Steve at JJP now, could happen there. Who knows? Boon / Ritchie reunion for a pin this time would be sweet.)
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Next Stern Pin due out 14 May!
You are correct! Credit to NC_Pin for improving the formula. It is indeed 162 days between the releases of Deadpool and Munsters. I am sticking to only counting the cornerstone games for purposes of release but in deference to your comment on BM66, I will remove it. It was the first Spike 2 game and made the numbers more accurate. We will now start our count with Star Wars counting the days of release since Aerosmith as the first cornerstone Spke2. With the new and improved formula the next game is due out... 14 May.
Next Stern pin reveal due 14 May 2022
Stern delivered slightly ahead of predicted (2 weeks early!) with Rush being revealed 4 January instead of the predicted 18 January based off of prior releases.
Math below.
Star Wars 5/31/2017 (147 days after Aerosmith, the first cornerstone Spike 2
Guardians of the Galaxy 11/2/2017 (156 days after Star Wars)
Iron Maiden 3/25/2018 (144 days after Guardians of the Galaxy)
Dead Pool 8/3/2018 (131 days after Iron Maiden)
Munsters 1/12/2019 (162 days after Deadpool)
Black Knight SOR 3/25/2019 (72 days after Munsters)
Jurassic Park 7/26/2019 (122 days after BK SOR)
Stranger Things: 12/23/2019 (150 days after Jurassic Park)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: 5/27/2020 (155 days after Stranger Things)
Avengers Infinity War: 9/2/2020 (98 Days after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
Led Zeppelin: 12/15/2020 (104 days after AIQ)
The Mandalorian: 5/11/2021 (147 days after Led Zeppelin)
Godzilla: 9/14/2021 (126 days after The Mandalorian)
Rush: 1/4/2021 (112 days after Godzilla).
The average time between cornerstone releases is now 130 days.
Next Stern Pin is due on or about 14 May, 2022
*Note that only “cornerstone” games with a Pro/Premium/LE pricing model are included for the purpose of this exercise.[quoted image]

As I was scrolling, I was certain this was going to be Charlotte's Web, which would be a hilarious jump from "venom"!
Quoted from JakePG:Venom is codeword for the new music pin POISON
Ha...I would preorder the hell out of that, even quicker than I would Harry Potter. And yes I'm 100% serious, LOL!
I did a custom soundtrack for my Mustang. Nothing But a Good Time is the main track. And it's amazing.
Quoted from JackG:Venom is code word for Cobra. And the next pin is G.I. Joe.
ABSOLUTELY!
I have a reservation for an avengers but if venom happened I would surely change my reservation. and if i were gi joe... i'd die!!! hahahah

Nah. "Venom" is code for RHBL. This will be one weird pin.
