If the rumour is true about an Aston Martin mech it won’t be Moore, his bond never drove or featured an Aston Martin.

Likely will be Craig as that is what EON and Sony are pushing hard at the moment until they find their next bond they will milk Craigs bond.

In which case that narrows it down slightly, as I can’t see it being Brosnan as we already have Goldeneye so that potentially rules him out.

Dalton didn’t drive a DB5 from memory, his Aston of choice was the new V8 Volante, no time to die pays homage to it too.

Lazenby drove a DBS and there’s no way they would do Lazenby on his own surely?

Craig has driven a DB5 in more Bond films than every other Bond, pretty sure it’s just QoS he was exclusively in a DBS.

Leaving Connery who drove a DB5 in Goldfinger (which everyone remembers) and Thunderball. Although some Bond trivia the stunt car was actually a DB4.

Would be amazing to have all Bonds featured like Dr Who but it would bug me having Moore in it if the gameplay centered around an Aston Martin. But I think it’s going to be Craig as EON want to get every penny out of Craig until they announce the next Bond!… Henry Cavil please!

So to capture the most audience, it's either just Connery or all of them. It'd be easiest to theme a Connery Bond alone since the Roger Moore ones got really wacky.

If I had my way I would do it like the Alien Pinball or Star Wars (stern) games do it. Once you start your game, pick your Bond and then you get access to their individual modes along with some shared modes.

Roger Moore drove a Aston Martin DB5 but it wasn’t in a Bond movie.

A view to a kill and Live and let die were awesome Bonds IMO. Walken as Max Zorin and Yaphet Kotto as Kananga/Mr Big were great villains. Plus both had good bond songs. A view to a kill is mine and my Mrs favourite Bond. Bit cringe as Roger was pushing 60 and slept with a record 4 women, but great Bond with an awesome villain.
1) I’d love to see the rumoured DB5 as a VUK ejector seat (cue Goldfinger clip)
2) A diagonal laser captive ball stack like Williams Indiana Jones (cue Goldfinger clip again)
3) A rail that diverts or passes through Jaws mouth. Complete his metal grin by locking 3 balls (cue Moonraker cable bite clip/The Spy Who Loved Me smile clip)

No reason Franchi couldn't do a contract job on a Kapow title without being "back at Stern". I think I heard one podcast, maybe it was a Gomez quote (?) mentioning something about contracting in reference to Franchi. I could be misremembering though...

How about if 4 or 6 or more Bonds are featured in the pin, and the player chooses which Bond to play as at the start of the game, and then progresses through the game to play as more Bonds (think of Dr Who)? Each Bond would have a special strength and/or gadget or weapon. That would be cool.

This and Real Genius are the two left field themes I want that will never get made.

I love Bond and agree Connery was the best but he unfortunately alienated many with his personal views.
Many Bonds, modern Bond or a generic Bond world theme maybe but I don't see a Connery exclusive theme being as marketable.

34yrs but the point was pinball is already a pretty male-sentric hobby. Old men at that. Those "few people" (women) are half the world man. Connery also hasn't made movie in over dozen years. Young people have no clue who he is.

Never said I didn't like Connery Bond or anything. I'm speaking from a marketing stand point. Nobody under 40 would care about the game and many (more than usual at least lol) women would decide to take a pass on a game with the man's mug on it. I'm 32 and think Connery is the best Bond and very much care about the rumored pin. I have multiple friends who agree with me. My wife also loves the old Bond movies and couldn't care less what Connery said in 1987. She just knows that he is the original Bond.

I would bet decent money that the vast majority of the people (male or female) that are in the buying market for a Bond pin could care less what Connery said in 1987. I think a Connery centric pin would sell extremely well.

You think Stern would license all the bond actors? Sounds expensive. It would be cool to have great villains like jaws, bond girls, Aston Martin cars, music, etc but all that would need licenses which translates to $$$$.

I am 36 and Love James Bond the character. There is a reason he is the longest running franchise in movie history. As if every time a Bond movie came out, only men went and saw it. Women love a cunning, charming, and independent man.... In other words, Bond can appeal to everyone. No one ever claimed Bond was a moral role-model. lol
