I remember watching Goldfinger on TV with my family when I was about 10. My first Bond movie in the theater was Live and Let Die. Childhood memories don't get any better than those!

If they do Bond I would imagine they would try to tie it into newer IP given that there will be a new Bond actor by the release, sort of like how Golden Eye was done.
Quoted from bigguybbr:If they do Bond I would imagine they would try to tie it into newer IP given that there will be a new Bond actor by the release, sort of like how Golden Eye was done.
If it’s Kapow it won’t be the newer stuff
Quoted from Psw757:They got 3 Connery slots if I’m not mistaken. Diamonds, Goldfinger and Thunderball so yes I’d say it’s possible.
Connery was my favorite Bond but I did like Moonraker and View to a Kill with Moore.
Agree, Max Zorin is my favourite all time Bond Villain in A View to a Kill.
Quoted from Psw757:If it’s Kapow it won’t be the newer stuff
If it’s Connery or Moore I will be thrilled, instant buy.
Dalton in License to Kill, not too bad but couldn’t see him being on a pin.
Pierce was great in Goldeneye, the rest of his films were kinda crap.
If it was a new Goldeneye, yes, I would buy it.
If it was Daniel Craig based on Casino Royale which was a great film…..dunno maybe..
I like Daniel Craig as an Actor, Layer Cake.. great movie.
The rest of Daniel Craig Bond productions were a bit predictable.
So if it’s Daniel Craig, I’d be disappointed.
Quoted from Sako-TRG:Agree, Max Zorin is my favourite all time Bond Villain in A View to a Kill.
I agreed walken was amazing in the insane persona. If I recall the role was offered to david bowie first but he decline as soon he asked : who's mayday ? As soon they told him it was grace jones he declined the role. I think bowie would have been cool but walken did a pretty great job.
I also liked Drax in moonraker…..really insane too hehehe. A future race of super alpha elite people on earth.

That’s some funny shit, I guess they can find a way to repurpose the ball chewing Dino from Jurassic.

Bless your heart … lol

This is why… Very long history.
I completely understand but it just never had any appeal to me. It's just a boring franchise to me. Maybe I missed the age cutoff, but when I was little it was already in the Roger Moore years (loved him in Cannonball Run BTW)

You have a point. Back then, during the cold war, the treat was real and the James Bond caracter was really defined for that period of time. Even at the beginning of goldeneye M, Judie dench, accused Bond of being a mesogin relic of the cold war, out of time.
Stern is losing its edge. I would rather see a PRINCE Pinball over Rush . Prince is a Musical Genius Superstar. who deserves the Pinball Honor. or Eddy VanHalen Tribute Pinball. I predict low sales on Rush Machine. what a boring themed Pinball it will be.

Prince would be cool. If I ever bought a music pin, Id love to see something like a new “Warped Tour” machine and they license individual songs from 2000s artists like video games do.
Quoted from gregh43:Stern is losing its edge.
Ha. Yeah, I know my last 4 Elwin games have really sucked.
Quoted from skink91:Ha. Yeah, I know my last 4 Elwin games have really sucked.
LOL.
Stern could sell 2x the machines if they had capacity.
Stern never had an edge. It’s a nerdy pinball company. Rush will sell, LEs will be gone day one and pros / premiums will fly out the door. But…yes…I would personally prefer a Prince pin myself haha

Try to find an LE spot and get back to us on that low sales prediction.
Quoted from transprtr4u:I want the bond pin that comes with a tanker of cocaine...
A bond LE is going to cost a tanker of cocaine if you don't have a distributor that you are in good with.
Not that I’m an LE buyer, just curious…do y’all think that Stern is sticking with 1,000 LE’s for this run, or was that just a Godzilla thing?
Quoted from kool1:LOL.
Stern could sell 2x the machines if they had capacity.
Agree, if there were no supply chain issues we might be seeing Williams-heyday-levels of sales. Not that we ever really get to know how many machines Stern actually sells…
Quoted from Psw757:Adjust those older classic Bond films for inflation and I bet they exceed all movies from the 2000’s.
I just guessing though, don’t recall reading those numbers reflecting an adjustment
I don’t think it is adjusted. I’m 36 yesterday! But I have always loved bond films. Some because they’re awesome, some because they are corney, and some for the gadgets and cars.
I would like a Connery/Moore combo…. I find their swagger the best. I must have the original Q, M, and Money Penny.

Please, please don't. To see some clip over and over again wears out so quick it'll become anoying.

I could see this coming together pretty easily. Cop car bash toy linked with a hurry up where it falls apart as you hit it kinda like MM. Drop target bank in front of a stage cage with the BB singing behind it. Different modes for getting the band back together. Battle the country western band and neo-nazis. Earn 5 billion points to get to save the orphanage wizard mode. And of course a blast of a soundtrack. I can only imagine the awesome attract mode to the Peter Gunn theme. Ok, I'm sold on it lol.

Yep , it's one of those themes where you don't have to force it , perfect for pinball .
More ideas for the Pinside pin:
- Imamaculate wizard mode
- 12k by Christmas multiplier
- Secret Santa random award, one of which is Chinchilla Multiball
Bond doesn't appeal to me either. Mostly because there are so many movies and Bond played by a variety of different actors. I just see Stern coming up with generic Bond character and villains to avoid extra licensing costs.

Once again, this would be a Kapow game. These are the boutique Stern runs that specialize in the hard to get themes with full access.
I do agree that more than one Bond in the game would be a drawback. As stated before, I'd like to see a game with just Sean Connery. This is basically the same logic as wanting to see a Three Stooges machine with only Curly and no Shemp!

Would be interesting to see them spin the Bond character as a choice per mode like Dr Who. No interest in Bond for me but I can see where depending on age a specific Bond would be of interest to others.

OK, so YOU would rather see a Prince pin. That's fine. That's what YOU like. But Rush were also musical geniuses and amazingly good musicians and Stern will sell a ton of Rush machines. Word is you couldn't even get an LE before the game was even announced.
And please, it's spelled Eddie. Eddie Van Halen. It wouldn't be an Eddie tribute pin. It would be a Van Halen pin. Now that there has been AC/DC, Metallica, Maiden and Rush, I'm feeling better and better that a VH pin could actually get made in the future!

They did that already. It was called Secret Service.
I know I know…that was Data East.

I’ve been a LE buyer on every release. Prince would never make it into my home period.

Something Kapow could do that’s a little bit different is make the Pro a Pierce Brosnan edition, the premium Roger Moore and LE would of course be Sean Connery. All modes in each are tied to that actors movies only.

Just make a Panama pin. David Lee Roth on the trans, Eddy on the PF with Last-Action-Hero art. Only one song. Panama.. forever. Insta-buy!

Well, I'll give you one point for an original idea and another point for . . . actually I think that's the only point I can give. (I'll give you an upvote though for a truly original pin idea).

What kind of jukebox is that? HNY!
I think it has to be Connery. He is quintessential cool and the 60’s vibe is more fun. Craig is too much of a hard ass, Moore and Brosnon over the years, now seem to lean metro sexual.
Quoted from Psw757:What kind of jukebox is that? HNY!
Hey man, it’s a 1015 One More Time - Sound Leisure with a Diamond lighting pack LED lighting diffusers - programmable
Pretty much the same as the Wurlitzer except it has proper chrome (not plastic)
Company based in Oldham England do them. Provide all types of jukeboxes…
