5 years ago it was "I won't buy a game unless Lyman is on code". Stern hears that and next thing we know puts Lyman exclusively on the expensive pins (BM66, EHoH).
Now it's "In KME we trust" or "I only will buy Elwin designs". Stern hears that and...

I didn't say Lyman was to do ALL the boutique pins. I suggested he was strategically made to only work on expensive games (i.e. no more cornerstones) at some point because so many of us pledged allegiance to him. Stern saw our Lyman lovefest and put him on $8K+ pins from there on out. Also Supreme was a joke and would've been a waste of his skills.
Wouldn't shock me if they do the same to KME at some point because it's history repeating itself.

I am pretty confident that if a new edition is made, Crispin Glover will not be on the backglass. I can only imagine what it would take for him to agree to license his image. Stern may have to pay him in mice fur and jars of clipped toe nails.

I don’t doubt that, it was more the style of that image I was using as a reference. You would think Glover could do with a few small paydays from BTTF but boy he keeps on digging his heels in.

Utilize the actual Hue Syme Album Cover artwork as the side cab art. Better yet; Hue Syme does all of the artwork for the pin.
Incorporate Concert Footage, Concert Screen Shows and Rush Fantoon comic videos.
Laser Light show lighting modes with various Rush icons in Lasers.

Thanks for the shout out! I'm a huge Rush fan myself and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my 3D Start Button for this game, so I went for it. It came out beautifully -- the sparkle black starfield is gorgeous and the Solar Federation's red star burns formidably through it.
I just released my 3D Coin Reject Buttons for it today as well.

Was Rush confirmed as next Stern pin? Did I miss something? I don't live on the forums, so it's very possible. Rush and Tool would be my dream pins!

I'm not up to date on these Venom rumours but giving it the Deadpool treatment of comics over movies seems like the better choice. The movies have flopped and aren't very good. They seem to exist primarily as a cash grab and secondly as a means to bring Venom into the MCU.

I doubt they go with a movie themeing. At first glance it feels like an attempt to recreate the magic formula that made Deadpool.
Venom is also an anti-hero with a similar strong comiccon-goer popularity, and very strong collector community that dates back to the 90s comic book kids.
He has the potential to have a quirky humor and horror vibe that would help differentiate it a bit, and having Spider-Man as a supprting character, as to wolverine in the DP table, cant hurt.

The first one wasnt a flop, it did really well especially for an October opening. 200+ million gross domestically, not terrible. I agree they are bad movies tho, the first one was BAD, enough to make me not care about the second.
I hope its a trend that villians get tables; a Joker table could be incredible.

Great idea! Only has to have Spider-Man somewhere on the pin and it will attract people, I would be amazed if we don’t see another Spider-Man pin at some point No Way Home is tracking close to Avengers Endgame.

Speaking for myself "Born 1985" I grew up loving venom. If they are going with the comic edition, than I doubt the movie will play much of a negative role on the purchases of the pin. Hands down one of my favorite comic anti-hero. Think if they tie in Spider-man, Punisher, Carnage and the origin of Venom.

I have seen that art before but I'm never a fan of too much business. Would prefer a 2112 album cover, simple but obviously Rush.
People hated the album cover cabinet art on Led Zeppelin. Rush has had so many different styles in their album art over the years and I wouldn't mind something like the GnR LE tour poster art. I suspect at least one of the packages will be Moving Pictures themed.

As Geddy and Neil have a great sense of humor, I wouldn't mind a cartoon like on Aerosmith or Metallica.
We did see the original Rush lettering from the 1st album on that leaked image so we could see something very simple.

I just watched the Rush Documentary on Netflix. I was pretty surprised at how silly, and almost goofy, Alex and Geddy were in real life. They seem like very normal guys.
