Stern had their chance with IJ. They failed miserably. Their first attempt should have been amazing … but it wasn’t. Can’t see them going back to that well again.
It’s a massive IP, and they are doing another film. It deserves a modern re-do! JJP or Stern!

I agree that it is a great IP - probably my favourite IP but there are many great IP’s out there that would sell well. If it was to be done again I would prefer JJP and not because I like them over Stern but would like to see a new approach to it.

Don't worry man BTTF is coming. I have no idea when but it is. It is in too many people's mouths -including people at Stern- to not be coming relatively soon (in next year or so).

...This is NOT a Rush concert I ever attended...way to many women in this picture. The music in this game would be awesome.

You would be ok with that as a topper?
I think this would make a great concept / idea for virtually most any band Pinball theme: Since the resurgence of Vinyl records are back in full force.. How about for a Topper you have a flat record player on an arm / mech tilts vertical and spins with the bands logo... simple and interactive and fits the "band / music" theme perfectly.

Really great album and band. Does anyone outside the Midwest know who they are?

The Pro version does not.

If Stern made a Boston music pin I'd run this picture disc on that kind of topper.

I'm not sure but I think "It's more than a feeeeeeling...." that if a Boston Pin would come out wouldn't it make sense if the topper actually floated / hovered would makes sense for that album art...

Funny enough, this specific screen used prop (i.e. Marty's hoverboard from BTTF2) is up for action. Current absentee bid is £60,000. Estimated to sell in the £60-80000 range, but in my experience, these types of items go for much more.

uh, 60 to 80k for a piece of styrofoam, then 15k for a pin you can actually play with doesn't sound that bad....

Man , I hope BTTF has more in it than a Godzilla pro , it's one of the most barren underneath Playfields I've ever seen .

I noticed this as well. It has taken me almost 20 years to warm up to Stern and I have 5 now. This Godzilla is also a fun game to play, looking forward to getting one next year sometime.

Godzilla does look great , it's the only one besides Elvira which has really interested me , it's just amazing how empty the pro looks .

There is way more in Beatles than Godzilla Pro.
Quoted from mnpinball:There is way more in Beatles than Godzilla Pro.
And also black knight sword of Rage
^^^ Godzilla pro playfield is packed….. with fun. Playing GZ pro is an all round mind-pleasing experience. Imagine playing the premium will be mind-blowing.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:^^^ Godzilla pro playfield is packed….. with fun. Playing GZ pro is an all round mind-pleasing experience. Imagine playing the premium will be mind-blowing.
Yeah, this argument of "packed vs barren" doesn't make sense to me. What's not taken into consideration is Elwin's overall design and rules.
Give me an unlimited budget for a new game and I can pack it full to the brim with toys and mechs. Would basically guarantee that it wouldnt be fun to play though. I think there's SOOO much value in having a solid designer create a playfield that it far outweighs the number of coils in a game.
All that said, there have been a few videos now of people playing the Pro and NOBODY has commented that it's dull or that there's not much to do.
I am in love with my LE but I expect the Pro is a fantastic pin and will serve many people very well.
Would definitely chose a Godzilla Pro over an LE Hobbit any day, all day, every day.
YMMV
Beatles is not even a hair on the ass of Godzilla...
I own neither, but have played them both quite a bit. No comparison.

This is nothing new for recent Stern Pros. At least Godzilla Pro has some nice metal ramps and habitrails.

Not that I care...but that Godzilla pro does look surprisingly barren UNDERNEATH.

I'm not arguing that. Just saying that most Stern Pros look pretty barren underneath lately. At least it's not barren on top, too (LZ, cough).
