If it does that moon like , floaty , bouncy hop I’m going to have a grabber !
Quoted from PinDave:Hmmm, Ed Robertson is a pinball guy, no?
[quoted image]
Don't know about that but seeing Barenaked Ladies mentioned I can't help but think that if you wanted to troll the hell out of the current pinball market "If I Had A Million Dollars" would make for an epic LE only wizard mode.
I think I’m more excited that it’s Elwin and Yeti than Godzilla as a theme.
Elwin is 3 for 3 and is truly the GOAT.

True-100%...but Godzilla is the cherry on top for me.
Quoted from arcademojo:Guess I'm stuck watching the 1998 Godzilla tonight. Only one I have and worst one they made.
I’ll run some pics .It’s been 40 plus years and I’m impressed with the hour buildup to 30 minutes of glory !

Quoted from pinballcorpse:Maybe the loose code word syllogism was RUSH= "dinosaur" band = Godzilla
The dinosaur band you’re thinking of was already done…it was called….
___insert name of dad rock band that has already been produced___
Bah Dum, Tink!
Be sure to tip your waitress, folks!
Really looking forward to defeating all the monsters, doing a team up with mothra, hopefully some sort of building destruction hurry up. So much can be done with this theme very excited
Quoted from DeadFlip:Oh hey everyone, whats going on in this thread?
Speculation on when/who/what welk is going to be released/explained/bubbles.
Quoted from KYLEDM5:Now that Godzilla is official, it's time to move on. What is the NEXT Stern pin?
Ha ha ha … Not so fast.
1. Trailer release.
2. Photos of the 3 models.
3. Game play stream.
4. Comments good/bad, Happy/sad and bitch/moan .
5. Buy!!
6. The Next Stern Pin…
Quoted from KYLEDM5:Now that Godzilla is official, it's time to move on. What is the NEXT Stern pin?
Harry Potter hopefully to hook the wives in.

Go to my Godzilla hype thread
Quoted from kciaccio:Harry Potter hopefully to hook the wives in.
Wives, kids and almost everyone that has a kid. Oh yeah grown ass men like myself also. HP would be a great one but i don't think they can afford JK Rowling.
Still holding out for a Muppets. Still think it would be a great impending game with all the material.
Quoted from Bmanpin:Wives, kids and almost everyone that has a kid. Oh yeah grown ass men like myself also. HP would be a great one but i don't think they can afford JK Rowling.
If Stern can pull off Star Wars they can pull off Harry Potter. Question is would you rather see JP do it or Stern?

STERN!! Would not want to wait for a year and a half and mid way get hit with a price increase.
And
I don't want the playfield to have pooling.
And
I don't want to have 752 Multi ball's.

Did Stern really pull off Star Wars, though? They cost-reduced the crap out of what should have been one of their most-elaborate pins. Seems like it was the genesis of Steve Ritchie's exit from Stern.

Still love my Star Wars. Could there be more yes. However it is really fun to shoot.
Quoted from playtwowin:Still love my Star Wars. Could there be more yes. However it is really fun to shoot.
I'm not disagreeing that the Prem/LE shoots well and is fun enough (Pro is dull as <insert inert substance here>.
But to congratulate Stern for "pulling off" Star Wars as the post I responded to did is a big much. That was the only point.

Star Wars Pro is my favorite pin of all time. I don't judge pins by what they could've/ should've been, but rather what they are. What's there is fantastic in my opinion. Fastest, flowiest, smoothest shooting game I have ever played. All that delicious Star Wars music. All those awesome Star Wars scenes from the original trilogy. The narrator from The Clone Wars on callouts. I am also a huge Star Wars fan. Like a real fan...all the movies, animated series, etc. I think alot of people say they are Star Wars fans when really they are a fan of the 1st movie or first trilogy. There are some truly special moments in this game - blowing up both Death Stars, Hyperspace Multiball, and what has to be one of the best moments in pinball...The Lightsaber Duel. Fucking Epic.
So how does stern normally do the reveals, do they post pictures of the different models the day before the release, or do they do it when they open up for ordering?
Quoted from gambit3113:[quoted image]
Cut the guy a bit of slack, he's posted a question on a forum and as far as I can see nobody has answered it with anything other than a frown or jibe.
It's quite clear that he doesn't know the history of Godzilla and is wondering why they haven't gone with a CGI version.
Quoted from Budman:What the heck are you doing up at 4am !? What the heck am I doing up?
Actually…I’m up at 5am to start my trip to pick up a Star Wars Comic Prem. It’s been a long wait since I missed out on an LE at release.
And excited about seeing Godzilla on Monday too - it’s a great birthday week for me!

It’s my BDay week too. My distro is getting me an LE.
Quoted from Boblabla:Please, someone answer truthfully the last time they watched a 60’s 70’s 80’s Godzilla movie, purposely. We keep waiting on BTTF , which everyone wants.
Why not just release BTTF already!
About once a month or so. I watched Shin Godzilla with my kid about 3 weeks ago. Classic Toho Godzilla is a thing, dude. Huge fanbase.

100% agree.
I have owned a ton of pins and still own a good number and SW + JP are my newest additions but even taking away the honeymoon period (SW was over 18 months ago) they are two of my favorite pins especially for their moments. Not even needing to get to the Wizard or mini wizard there are quite a few moments along the way.

I bet back to the future was set to be released/announced in October to coordinate with typical October (think Nov. 5th) release dates of back to the future stuff, but the pandemic threw the timeline off

I don't think they ran OUTATIME... It's coming we all know it's coming soon... It's ok to be on an alternative timeline.
