everything is going up right now including Sterns cost to build/ship the games. Im sure theres some more profit in there for them as well, but I get it. Im hoping a small portion of this goes to increased bom for more stuff as well(doubt it).
The prices for the used machines goes up when this happens. The used sterns always sell for only about 10 to 15 percent under new anyway. You people saying you will just buy used now doesn't divert the problem. Big deal you are saving 10 maybe 15 percent on the good titles.

Back then the shitty cab artwork rubbed off in a few hundred games. The current cab decals are a lot more durable. Even still it would be nice if they came with the extended rails.

I’d buy them. Open up another regular shop and a warranty shop. I would then do you like car manufacturers and make certain titles at one shop and other titles at another and then alternate releases. The warranty shop would be used to cut out distributors. And I would up charge greatly to ship pens with mods already installed. “Don’t tear me up too bad lol”

Totall wishful thinking. Stern increases prices every year and their quality just gets worse.
I get some parts have gone up and the need for some increase. However, at the same time, wood prices are normalizing.
This is primarily a huge cash grab by Stern. Unless a can't miss title with all the bells and whistles comes out, Im out on any NIB Stern purchases.
In all honesty ,I need a break .I never took a dime out of my regular 48 hr paycheck that my wife handles .I had to buy these with blood $ (and 1 lucky draftkings win )and I’m happy to have what’s here .Actually I’m proud what I’ve done in the first 18 months in this hobby .The fever has hit me in a way recently that I felt I had to order everything that was revealed and that’s not a good thing .I don’t have that kind of scratch .I work labor jobs and have crossed the 51 threshold ,my body can’t sustain what Im doing for long .Not playing the small violin at all but I have MS and need to start relaxing a bit .Im 100% fine but exhaustion has been tapping my shoulder recently .I will always be in this hobby until my time comes but right now Im saving what I need for my HW coming then it’s time to chill out and play .There’s nothing in life like “new pin day” period .I just need to understand they’ll always be there available to sell/buy/trade or find on location .I’ve said this before and will say it again ,this hobby is fing insane and I’m glad I found it .Be well all and if Ozzy is revealed I’ll have a fing grabber Lmfao!

Ya, I hear you. I've always been the type that when I get into a hobby I get a bit ocd and go all in. The last couple years I've been a bit out of control with entertainment spending.
Like many I'm sure buying my first NIB pin seemed insanely expensive, and I thought I'd get one and stick with that. I finally got out of Southern California with the insane cost of living and being in apartments all my life and got a house and started filling it with arcade games and pinball machines, but just had a second kid and the prices for new and used are getting to the point of absurdity, so I need to cool off for a bit and enjoy what I have.

I'm with you, I preordered a Munsters premium from the last run, and Stern shorted my distributor and only sent him 3 and I was the 4th on the list, so he told me I won't get mine till some time 1st quarter in 2022. If it's going to be 1k more, then I'm going to pass and get my deposit refunded. Paying more because Stern couldn't deliver, and then waiting another 5-6 months is ridiculous.
I see brand new sterns hit venues and a day later something’s broken. Never; and I’ve said it for 15 yrs, never would I ever buy a Stern ! & I’ve also never bought a DE. B/W forever <3

Wood is normalizing a bit but other parts are still higher and workers are demanding more money or they stay home. Im sure the price increase isnt just to cover rising prices as they are a company that thinks they can make more profit. They have probably seen the secondary market and said we want some of that. Well see how it turns out i guess

Why i love Daniel « bond » Craig?
Coz he is acting like a real secret agent and he Is highly credible. He also took advantage of much better scenarios with a toucher and more complex character for a way better acting performances. He changed the bond character forever that was just a kind of seductive puppet before him

Never have been in this extreme but i’m currently way more selective in buying. I couldn’t do anything with soaring price then i try to buy better with more criteria. And if i missed a great game then i can consider to buy it later in the secondary market.

What I don't understand is when I have a signed invoice with a distributor and a deposit down, the game has been delayed past their expected delivery date, and then they tell me it's going to cost me more?

I agree. The apron looks fine for location use but not for home use.

It definitely not fair and I think a lot of people are going to flip when they figure out what's going on. There's a ton of people waiting on games.

Happens every time. I remember when all the BM66 and Elvira prices went up everyone stood up and cancelled their orders... sorry I meant to say paid the new price and never spoke of it again.
