Quoted from ahdelarge:

So, from looking at the current thread, the horses in the race are:
The Mandalorian
Godzilla
James Bond
The Fast & The Furious
Back to the Future
JAWS
Top Gun
Pulp Fiction
The Matrix
Mortal Kombat
Harry Potter
I put the Fast & the Furious in there as it has been mentioned a lot over the years and I think it could be a surprise title.....not one that I'd buy. Mortal Kombat has also been mentioned several times. Interesting, but again, not something I'd want to own.
Motley Crue also seems like a contender, but not sure if they'd give us another music title so close to Led Zeppelin?

F&F was already done as Mustang. Something happened and it ended up Mustang instead.

You forgot LotR Spike. It will outsell everything on that list except maybe Back to the Future and Harry Potter. Worldwide appeal, proven design and software with upgrades galore made possible by Spike. I'm starting to feel like this may be Tanio. He has experience with low level stuff and helped develop the spike system which is a skillset perfect for porting or emulating the original game system and running that under a new graphical skin. If that's the way it goes, very exciting.

Love this time of year where Lucy sets down the old "May the 4th" football and all the Pinside Chucks line up.

I certainly wont be lining up to take a kick.

Heads up for Stern and All other Pinball manufacturers.
you guys are aware of modern EL coating (its been around for a while)

Now the GLOW tech is further enhanced and less expensive.
Could bring Wow factor to certain titles !

I'd like to see a cab come alive with the heart rate of a player.

Edit, possibly not so difficult to achieve these days, due to Bluetooth wearables.
Most people I know have a smart watch incorporating heart rate monitor.

Great video worth a look

Just watched an episode of the falcon and winter soldier and they referenced skull island. I'm down for a godzilla vs kong in the marvel universe pin.

Make is so stern.

If they don’t have parts to build other games like EHOH or IRMD how can they build new games? I guess the new games won’t have motors and such, just ramps, plastic figures or sculpts, and coils right. Stripped down games that cost too much.

#15913 2 years ago

I believe it’s a dual motor component that they are having trouble sourcing. Most games that have a motor are single function. EHOH has two motors behind the house and I believe the trex on JP premium is a similar situation

After JM, I’m surprised anyone is making pins with complex motors.

Bob Ross:The Joy of Pinball

Switch hits collect paint colors.
Shoot lit shots to finish the painting and complete the mode.
Team up with Peapod the Squirrel for help
Even when you drain, it’s not a mistake, only a happy accident.
Make it happen.

Is it finally time to roll out a licensed Matrix in Pro, Prem, and LE versions?

Sure there’s a few of the JM makeover pins out there, but I’m hoping for a real production run that I can actually obtain for my collection

a Godzilla Pin would be cool. and i think because of the fact that there are new Godzilla movies, that would be very reasonable.

#15925 2 years ago

i would love a new Back to the Future Pin , but would they make it, when there is currently nothing new about it?

John Wick would be great, but I hope you don’t mean reuse the Sopranos layout?

Should be Ironman 2.0 or Ironman on steroids, use magnets, kickbacks, drop targets so the game is constantly fighting you, drop in a killer sound track from the movies, audio and video assets to create the immersion that’s in Ironman and it’s good to go!

Predator rights are expiring/expired so Disney may no longer be the owner.

“Such plans by Disney may face an obstacle in the form of termination. According to the complaint, the effective termination date for their screenplay (originally titled "Hunters") is April 17, this Saturday.”

Ok...serious question that I’ve had for a while...why would Stern create merch with a shark on it if they weren’t intending to make a shark pin (Jaws, obviously)? It makes no sense. And it can’t simply be because they’re trying to screw with all the pinheads wanting a Jaws game.
