How about a Sammy Hagar/Heavy Metal pin. You could use the Heave Metal artwork and throw some Hagar stuff in there too. Maybe 3 lock box miltiball, have a red Trans Am on the pf or have the ball climb a scaffold. The finale would have to be Heavy Metal Multi ball.

Maybe it’s been confirmed before but, Is Iron Maiden going to be a stand alone new design or will it share a theme like FG and Shrek?

Don’t see any reason why it would be shared. The only reason Shrek was made is because FG wasn’t selling and they had a ton of extra parts so they decided to make Shrek. Then FG started to sell. At least that’s the rumor.

Well it just seems that maybe Iron Maiden wouldn’t have a big enough fan base to be stand-alone. I guess we will find out.

Not sure if Iron Maiden will be for me or not, I know like one song-"Run for the Hills". I also was not keen on Metallica when it got announced but the layout sold me and I actually remember all of the Metallica songs growing up. Now Metallica is in my top five machines for my collection. This game will have to have a solid layout and polished code for me to even consider, definitely would be a pro model as well if I did like it. Hope it sells well and is a good title for Stern.

I like to think I know quite a bit about music. The only maiden song I know well is flight of Icarus.
And as the previous post stated am also familiar with run for the hills. What other songs are likely to be included?

So to make sure I understand the Archer game we saw last year, that's being used in a new Stern pin? Is it the Iron Maiden or something else, or do we not know yet??

I did my ratings years ago, they are way off! I have been lazy when it comes to updating my ratings. I think everyone's opinions change over the years, time to update.

Oh the Irony ... No Pun intended I just noticed taht in 2016 Keith Showed Archer off at Expo and was wearing a Iron Maiden Tee Shirt. No wonder he got the call to turn Archer into this Pin. I'm not a IM fan but very excited to condsider a but if the Art-Layout and Code rock.

I know I’m going to be hated on for this opinion, but here goes. Lol

In the United States, I cant speak for Europe, Iron Maiden is a Merch band ala KISS. Known more for the image of their mascot Eddie than any song they ever wrote. The difference is, and it’s hard to believe, Maiden had LESS success on the US charts than KISS. I get it, Eddie is a cool visual, and Metal !!!! Hell, I’ll buy one! But Iron Maiden probably wouldn’t sell anywhere near a Met or AcDc. Ok, let the hate begin. Lol

Also, I will note, on my visits to Europe, Germany in particular where they had very impresssive and expensive record shops, Maiden was held in much higher esteem musically.

Was thinking why would Stern do two music pins so close together for release-AC/DC Luci Vault and Iron Maiden. Even with a month or so apart you would think they overlap a little. What if Iron Maiden is Stern's code word for King Kong or Jurassic World or something else? Stern is great at throwing curve balls. Same goes for Deadpool with the recent release of GOTG, I can see Deadpool in late 2018. Usually Music pin, Super Hero Pin, Movie Pin, rinse and repeat.

I think there is going to be some disappointed folks - I predict next game not Iron Maiden or even a music pin. I’m going to go out on a limb and say next music pin we see from Stern is not Iron Maiden either.

good. hoping its a newer music themed pin so people under 35 will actually play it on location. AS, elvis, rolling stones and stern kiss all do/did bad on location due to old music theme. ac dc and MET never earned "huge" for any of our locations either. although they did better than the other groups. game play and rules are fantastic on most of the above (elvis is one of my fav pins ever), but casual, beginner, and not "pro" , tournament or league players are drawn to a game due to theme and theme alone. Those people drop the most coin on location. best recent STERN earners are ghostbusters (timeless theme all ages know it and still relevant), Star wars (same), Gotg (new theme, young people flock to it, even double flipper flappers). GOT (current, popular), TWD (Current, popular).
any new pin can have short earning power because its NEW, but ones that continue to earn have to be current relevance.

Nimblepin told me years ago he was willing Iron Maiden into existence. I chuckled but now if it comes into fruition I will be eating my hat.

If Iron Maiden has the same layout as Archer it will be awesome as that layout is totally unique with so many cool shots.

If it's that layout and confirmed Lyman doing the code, dang, it might have to be LE!
