Quoted from Guinnesstime:Van Halen pin is my #1 request. Not even close.
if they are going to continue to do rock band pins this one is a no brainer.
Quoted from J85M:I read a while back that MJF had no idea about the pin at the time DE approached his agent and his agent never passed it on as he felt MJF was to big at time? Probably all that endorsement off Pepsi and Nike at the time.
He would definitely give his likeness now especially if Stern or JJP approached with an incentive or involvement/promotion for his foundation. Add 500 bucks to each LE and stern donate a $1000 from all “880” LEs, probably give his likeness for free.
I thought it was the producers or directors that are the problem for BTTF.
Quoted from woody76:if they are going to continue to do rock band pins this one is a no brainer.
Why is that? They dont have any art to tie into, they dont have a mascot, and it could possibly be Van Hagar, not Van Halen. I dont see this being made, ever.
Jaws with a lower pf ball eating Great White with the Orca sportsfisher sinking on top playfield with a John Williams score...Just a light beacon floating in water for a translight. Ok i'm dreaming...Who would be the best to design such a epic title? And do any know who may have the license?
I think there is a chance of a Mortal Kombat pin. The franchise is getting a new movie this year with plans for several in the future follow the fit steps of the MCU.

“Get Over Here!”...fatality

Well they already got the guy who does Shao Kahn's voice so theres that.
So WHEN will the next one be announced? I know there's someone in these forums who tracks the dates and all that, so before end of March, I imagine? I'm asking for a "friend" looking to buy a new pin this year...
Quoted from SLCpunk2113:Fatalities as a hurry up at the end of modes kinda like Deadpool but ya know deader.
complete battle/mode, then a 3 shot kombo like 123 foot in tmnt to do a fatality. and have a secret Kombo to do a different fatality.
Quoted from SLCpunk2113:think there is a chance of a Mortal Kombat pin.
I feel like Ritchie is the right guy to do it to. fast, flowy and lots of combos.

Hit enough ramps on Medieval Madness and you get your fatality callout!

Didnt he also help make MK the game? Voices and stuff as well?

My wife and daughter would go nuts! That would be a sweet pin. Artwork would be insanely cool.

That would be soooo Kool.
Quoted from Guinnesstime:I had a BDK that had like 10 plays on it when I found it. I put up a Grand Champ score on 1 ball at the seller's house. Took me 30 minutes to play a game. That right there should have been the warning sign, but I bought it. It just wasn't fun. I know there's differences w/BM66, but the guts are still there. New layouts please.
I’ve owned both, layout wise BM66 edges out BDK, but it’s still a flawed layout, I would love to see a BM89 pin but new layout is a must! I want a batcave and batmobile and Jokernot a turntable
Quoted from Roostking:I thought it was the producers or directors that are the problem for BTTF.
As far as I know they have no issues with products/merchandising or expansions (there’s been books and games like telltales which was kinda BTTF4) on the trilogy. They are the roadblock stopping the studio doing a 4th or remaking the originals though.
There’s just about everything you can think of produced for BTTF, I’m a member of the official collectors site and some of the people there are crazy for anything BTTF.
There’s certainly fans within the BTTF community that have zero interest in pinball that would drop 10k on a pin, when there’s guys who spent close to 3-4k on Pepsi bottles and 10-15k on Nike’s, 6k-10k for a pin is a must have.
No more Batman of any kind, please! If they can’t get a theme right in five tries, it’s time to move on. I like BM66, so figure that was achieved.

Star Wars, on the other hand has eight strikes imo, yet strangely I’d love to see one good version done by Elwin before I pass.

I agree.
Stern likes a variety (music, comics/toons, TV/movie) in most recent years, so I would love to see: Black Sabbath, Mandalorian, Masters of the Universe (Skeletor edition), and The Watchmen (comic edition). But we’ll probably get Rush, Getaway/High Speed 3, Thor, and Transformers (again, but comic version). Not holding my breathe for HP, BTTF, or Jaws anytime soon either.

At first, I was like meh, then like hell yea!
With all the different music pin suggestions I’ve seen come across this thread lately, I don’t believe I’ve seen Rage Against the Machine yet. Is that still too young of a crowd for pinballs prime buying age? Does it need to wait another 5 -10 years? I’ve probably listened to many hours more of The Eagles, but I feel Rage suits pinball way more.
New Mortal Kombat movie trailer looked great
Just give me a bash toy head that looks like its spine is being ripped out as it pops up from the playfield (like a rock and sock em robot head)
Oh and a magna save that says “get over here”

I was the exact age for Rage. Ive seen them twice. Once about 25 yrs ago and again in NY for the reunion about 15yrs back. I can honestly say i havent intentionally listened to Rage in about a decade now. Im 39. Its anti establishment angst doesnt do it for me anymore. I feel like Rage is too dated. Maybe they will make a Matrix machine and throw a couple Rage track in there. That would be enough imo.

I always think things like this look great, then the movie sucks. Take The Punisher (there've been a few) for example. That even had a story. MK we're manufacturing one. Skeptical. It's gonna be bloody, that's for sure.
Still it's pretty wild to see finishing moves with movie quality like that 30+ years after I was playing on my Sega Genesis.

IMG_6857 (resized).jpgComing soon is the universal pinball kit. 10k parts arrive at your door. Your job, should you choose decide to accept, is to assemble them into a pinball machine. Following notification to Stern that your game looks complete, they’ll send you Mission framework and you can create the ruleset and code it. Customer is responsible for qc and UL certification.

God I can only wish. 2 band pins in a row seems beyond unlikely, especially w/no VH rumors.
