I mean, he does kind of just use his preexisting ideas and mix them around a bit. Thats got to save a lot of time in development. Dont get me wrong, I like a good Borg game myself but hes not exactly pumping out originality on an Elwinian level 
I’m sure Elwin will seem less original once he’s made 10+ games. Honestly there’s only so many shots a flipper can hit.

Yeah I guess. He’s 3 for 3 so far so that bodes well for his future stern releases.
And it’s not just his PF layout that’s amazing. It’s the code/rule set integration and to me that makes his pins a step above the rest.

Definitely agree the Keith’s games are great I like them all! But I also like most of what Borg has made in his career. Borg is a top tier designer IMO even if his designs seem less innovative. Honestly, I like most games I meet. Guess I’m easy to please. Haha.
If it is a Borg, for the love of all that is right with pinball, can we lose the mono targets this time?

John posting all that stuff, looks like it could be misdirection. John and Dwight on Welk I thought.
If he is doing Godzilla maybe it was theme switcheroo like what happened on Iron Maiden. John started off with Iron Maiden and it was passed off to Elwin. John had an Eddie head is his game and that became Groot and became Guardians of the Galaxy.
So maybe John is on Godzilla now and Elwin is on Welk.
A Welk layout by Elwin and rules by Lyman would sell. However, Lyman is still got a bunch of work left to finish EHOH, so Welk is being pushed to end of 2022.
Godzilla is not strong enough theme for me. I will be passing but one thing could turn that around, introduction of King Kong. Godzilla vs Kong would be highly appealing. As we have never heard of Stern acquiring the Ape license, the next pin will be limited to Godzilla and friends. Maybe game will be good enough to win over new fans and I definitely want to play it.

I'm really not sure why people routinely talk about Elwin and Lyman teaming up. A huge part of what makes Elwin's games great is his rules design complimenting his playfield design.

I just don't understand why Stern would do an LOTR vault when they have a massive backlog. The only logic would be that they acquired the license again and pushed it back as much as possible due to the pandemic?
