Quoted from 2pupPinz:

Just for the Catalina Wine Mixer wizard mode
[quoted image]

I could do some serious work on an Anchorman pin.

#12802 3 years ago

life aquatic would be great and would have an amazing Bowie soundtrack.

#12803 3 years ago
Quoted from LeMansFan:

Dream themes for me:
Music:
The Chemical Brothers (tons of perfect songs and lots of theme possibilities)
Radiohead (my favorite band, but I am the first to agree their music may not be suitable for pinball)
The Grateful Dead (while I can appreciate their music, it's the fact my wife would agree to one immediately, I can also envision an excellent art package)
Pink Floyd
Daft Punk
Movies:
Anything Tarantino, but ideally Pulp Fiction
True Lies (still an all-time favorite)
Scarface
A Clockwork Orange
The Fifth Element

Floyd would be amazing

Fifth Element oh yeah

#12804 3 years ago

I noticed Ren and Stimpy was mentioned and the first thing that popped into my head was.
POWDERED TOAST MAN !!!!!!!! That would be a great call out or at least a wizard mode.

I'm going back to Muppets, with motion Statler and Waldorf puppets topper that joke and taunt you. That has the potential to be really fun.

Holy Wars mode..hmmm I like it!

and +1 for the Muppets! it could sooo work tho! seriously

#12809 3 years ago

Megadeth would be an auto LE buy for me if Stern used the same team that executed IMDN. So many bad ass songs and insane artwork to make another masterpiece for the OG rockers. One can dream...

My IMDN Prem has played all Megadeth songs from the minute it got in my house. Makes a damn good game even better!!!

#12811 3 years ago

Haha that “Killing for Religion” meme is clever and hilarious, Dave doesnt understand.
Totally down for a Megadeth pin!

#12812 3 years ago

I would love to see a modern Gilligan's Island game with a "Honey Bees" 3 ball multiball, Giant Spider mode, Herald Heckuba's "Hamlet" mode, Secret Agent dream mode, a 2 ball "Ginger or Mary Anne" multiball and sooo much more. With real show clips and background music this could be given the pinball treatment it deserves as the most syndicated and watched show EVER!

It'll never happen, but Gilligan's Island certainly deserved better than the pin it got. Probably turned out terrible because it was a re-theme from what was intended to be a different game.

#12814 3 years ago

To commemorate Dawn Wells! and celebrating Tina

The return oooooohhhhhhh

This works for me. Probably better if JJP did it!
Hogwarts!!!

#12816 3 years ago

Max:
I like your nurse's uniform, guy.
Dr. Flynn:
They’re O.R. scrubs.
Max:
Oh, are they?

Great movie - not sure about making it into a pin.

#12817 3 years ago
Quoted from Lounge:

Max:

I nearly shat myself when he delivered that line.

Sorry, that was produced in the last 20 years..

#12819 3 years ago

So when are we expecting the next title will be announced?

Right after CGC announces theirs.

Certainly lots of source material for great callouts.

Super exclusive ad from the Pinside Marketplace!
#12826 3 years ago

Also Happy Days. But not sure if it would work yet. Stern probably needs to wait a couple more years for it to line up with the target market.

Maybe you should wait a few years as it appears your still wet behind the ears. Last time I checked stern doing pretty well without your advice.

#12828 3 years ago

Could it really be in the pipeline. ?

Is that a rock band of some sort or the stoners from my ‘77 high school graduating class?

Love the Eagles, great band but hard to imagine it integrating into a pinball machine.

Quoted from Psw757:

The Hotel California ball lock ... balls lock but they can never leave!

#12832 3 years ago

My bad, it’s the Eagles... feel free to downvote my last post !

#12833 3 years ago
Quoted from transprtr4u:

The Hotel California ball lock ... balls lock but they can never leave!

On their last tour during one of the songs they had a pinball machine on the video screen behind stage and got lots of video time and close ups.
One of the guys must be a pinhead to feature a pinball machine like that.

#12834 3 years ago

I say Van Halen or Def Leppard for the next Stern rock pin. Pink Floyd and Eagles-meh I need some more 80's hairband rock bands in the lineup first.

Van Halen..pngVan Halen..png
#12835 3 years ago

As much as I loved Def Leppard and Motley Crue back in the day, I have less than zero interest in a pin in 2020 of either. I don’t even have a desire to hear their music anymore.

They have howdy dudy and Roy Rogers first. Maybe Bonanza. Now that would be a sweet pin!

#12837 3 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

You and I don't think so; but everyone on Pinside (& South America) is a massive Iron Maiden fan.

I can take them or leave them.

Band Pin: Van Halen x 1000. That's what I want.
Preferred Next Theme: Transformers G1. Revise the layout like Gomez did w/BDK -> Batman 66. Make the ramps better, revise the rules, and give it what it deserves.

#12840 3 years ago
Quoted from NoQuarters:

I have my deposit in on Welk - when and if the title hits I am in for a LE !

If it has the lovely Lennon Sisters on the topper and it blows bubbles, I'm in as welk.

How is I Love Lucy not already made? Would sell more than Adam’s Family in the 90’s.

#12844 3 years ago

I Love Lucy was made.

#12845 3 years ago

Too long ago. They need to remake it now that the theme lines up with Stern’s target market.

In ahead of you for an LE and I will buy the Bubble Machine topper.
Pretty much in on most games with a Pro - but all in on an LE for Welk !

I can't wait to see what John and Dwight do with this game. Should be great.

#12848 3 years ago

No, please, not Eagles. What a waste of pinball.

Gary’s favorite band?

Joe Walsh probably regrets that pic.

Man they had some weird themes and art back then. Creepy.
