My thoughts exactly of the last 3, time for a good one.

Quoted from Psw757:

Couldn't agree more.

Don't get me wrong I do like Stern but tired of the title choices.

Munsters was my worst NIB purchase to date.

#11856 3 years ago

Stern and LZ machine just got a serious plug on 102.9 here in Philly, local classic rock channel.

Munsters was everyone's worst purchase to date.
I posted this on another thread but worth repeating. Chills! So many are/will complain about dad rock, dinosaur rock, whatever. This game will sell. And if the gameplay is good, they will sell one to me!

#11859 3 years ago

Finally I feel like I have been waiting forever for this game. Can't wait to see the full reveal.

#11860 3 years ago

YES! Hope we get a tease of the track list before full reveal!!!!

#11861 3 years ago

Definitely the first music pin where I actually like the band a lot. Can’t wait!

#11862 3 years ago

Whew, I can save my money. Not interested in LZ. Was hoping for Godzilla.

#11863 3 years ago

I’d like to see the art package

Today is ‘Celebration Day’ for many of us!

This is going to come down to the tracks they were able to get. The immersion will be nowhere near JJP GNR, so hope the layout and rule set is next level.
The one thing we know is they will be available to ship immediately.

Yep just got a Pro and was told there ready to ship. Im hoping the layout is fast but i dont expect much "toys" which i dont really care much about anyways.

#11867 3 years ago

I hear LZ is a reskin of Stranger Things. The movie screen is a static image of LZ on stage...it opens up and you throw $7k into John Bonhams kick drum hole. Then the game shows off its penis through the fabric of it tight pants and rips off delta blues musicians.

#11868 3 years ago

I'm in! Game looks awesome.

Tim is good but some BKSOR owners feel it lacks some polish. Hope he come through big time on LZ.

I think music pins in general give you a bit more to work with as far as coding ideas etc...so I confident it will be good.

I not a huge fan of Tim's work on BKSOR, especially the upper playfield rules. Hopefully he brings something fun and fresh for LZ.

I mean, Ritchie didn't give him much to work with...

I'm in.. if the LE just has 1/2 the light show and way more to do than just MB all the time.. should be great.. Hopefully not a Beatles dud..

Well, now that you guys know the next Stern pin, you can finally start discussing the NEXT Stern pin.

Ok - I’m going with Bond or Godzilla

I’m game for that one.

#11879 3 years ago

I hope Steve has come up with a new layout for this one, I love Spider-Man, Star Trek, AC/DC and BKSOR is a lot of fun too but I’d love to see something other than bash toy/targets up the centre and left ramp right ramps.

Quoted from BallPin:

People I speak with have a NDA, so I wouldn't just spill the beans for internet clout. I did drop a hint to see if people pick it up. I'll revisit the hint when the pin is released! It's not an obvious hint btw.

So what was the cryptic hint please and was it correct?

#11882 3 years ago

I’m 52 , a musician and a Led Zep fan......
BOOOOORING!!!!
Why???

Because if I hear Stairway one more time I’m gonna’ puke. I can’t imagine hearing 30 seconds of any song every time I play a game.

Hopefully Stairway will be omitted as Dream On was on Aero

Quoted from EMDude:

I think it could be used for an attract mode or game over type of song.

My gut is telling me there will be a ramp that raises up out of playfield as the stairway to heaven. Kind of hard to imagine not having that, almost too easy to envision.

#11889 3 years ago

I can't imagine how they can implement stairway, but cant imagine how they cannot include. Nothing else matters didn't make met either , so ballads appear hard for pins

#11890 3 years ago

As far as pinball tunes I’m hoping misty mountain hop ,Kashmir ,immigrant song, communication breakdown ,living living maid ,dazed and confused ,ramble on ,bring it on home just to name a few !

#11891 3 years ago

I have to agree about Stairway to Heaven. Their biggest song but I don't see it working for pinball. So I hope they leave it out. Besides, how's a ball gonna travel up a stairway?

Lots of games with stairway ramps. TOM TAF the list is huge. Pretty sure he was joking.

I bet the playfield LCD like what is in Star Wars returns.

I’m hoping for a third flipper and a unique ruleset.

At least 12-15 songs hopefully. Full length like GNR does.

It’s called a ramp with a sticker that resembles a stairway.
I agree with the sentiment that it may not be a great pinball shooting song but with the idea of a toy staircase it’s hard to not see them doing this.

Shit, maybe it’s something that only happens as a wizard mode but to have a mech/toy that only gets used in that scenario would be odd.

Yeah, good example and it does it in two wizard modes.
