It is fun to think about all the different possibilities. Just part of what makes pinball fun. Today I was thinking about a M*A*S*H pinball. A Hot Lips multi-ball would be a blast.
Many of us on here would guess the next Kapow will be a "Queen-themed" remake of Quicksilver and prolly 1-3 weeks.
I was on that same bandwagon a short while back, decided it was not going to happen anytime soon (if ever), so I got myself a nice Tron PRO instead!!

Hard to say - I'm new to the hobby and don't really know his personality. Was definitely a little cavalier for what would seemingly be a massive release for Stern.
Don't be fooled, Doubt's on it being Harry Potter, what they are actually holding back on is Lawrence Welk - but I don't think it's got anything to do with Kapow anyway.
Don't get too jazzed up though. Welk is not imminent, it would be sometime down the road.

Are you outa ya mind, son? Any designer worth his salt would die for the opportunity to do a HP pin. You could probably run a contest to choose the designer with entrant submitting their application along with their left nut. Heck, I’d love to do the job, but I lack design talent, so will be holding onto my nuts for now.

Oh to be clear I think it would sell a fuckton. It could be a boring fan layout with no interesting mechs and the LEs/CEs would sell out within minutes.
But I just don’t think it’s possible to please most people considering the scope of the franchise. (Besides people being happy to have anything at all) Like getting all the movie clips and music would cost an arm and a leg, or people would complain about no movie assets. The full series of books is huge and only so much of it can be put into a game. It would require elaborate mechs to have that magic feel people want. Maybe JJP could pull off the mechs, but who knows.

Wife and I talked about this. There's almost too much content to fit into one pin. But we figured out some fun basics that could be a start: Collect spells to light battles at the scoop, similar to Deadpool, and work up to Voldemort. Gotta have the flying car as a toy. Also, a Golden Snitch mode where the light moves to different shots...like the Megalodon mode in Deadpool.
I think I just need to buy Deadpool.

Your kind of right that the setup could be like deadpool. And the katana could be a broomstick. Dead and pool targets could be each movie or book. I would replace deadpool bash with something else. But harry potter would need to have more ramps like tmnt.
Also if harry potter comes out I would sell a lung to get it.

ergo HP deserves to be a widebody design with two upper playfields. I’d trust Keith (or George) to tackle that one of anyone at Stern. As for Stern building a widebody pin, I have some concerns about their eagerness to go that route. Would be 1000% easier for Kapow to work with JJP and to demand Eric design the HP masterpiece.
