Toho Godzilla > Jaws
BTTF > Led Zep
Quoted from underlord:Sterns already used this tease. They need to step up or shut up. No more Jaws ‘teasing’.
Maybe they are not teasing and will die Zombie Shark – The Swimming Dead..
Quoted from yancy:That's a great idea if you have $20k lying around to buy one. Licensing ain't cheap. And good luck getting approval from all the bands. Who gets top billing?
Sorry, but Queen gets top billing with the LE!
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:Toho Godzilla > Jaws

No and no.
Quoted from Saltimbanco:Sorry, but Queen gets top billing with the LE!
Not if it's a reskinned Quicksilver...otherwise, I'm all in.
Quoted from Airball:I think the days of Kaneda or over. Cary Hardy is feeding his fans and doing a good job.
Aww yes. The section of pinheads who hate pinball. Interesting lot.
Saw that Netflix is looking to produce a Legend Of Zelda series with Tom Holland eyed for lead. Finally a real path to victory for a LoZ pin!!! A boy can dream...
I’m ready for another Mario Pin. The old game is horrible and still earns really well on route.
Time for stern to make a Mario pin
Is Zeppelin a cornerstone or possibly a studio/Kapow title? To me that has a bit of that Batman/Beatles feel to it. Give Steve Ritchie the shot at a game with the higher BoM for a theme he loves.

Pretty sure it is slated to be a cornerstone title
Quoted from jorro:Maybe just to mess with us, and because they can its a new star wars
The mandalorian
You're from where? I'd go for a Bermuda Triangle PRO.. balls dissapear and you never see them again!

Well Stern has started using subways again!
And this is why we love us some Boob. Missed you terribly on your hiatus Amigo. Glad you’re back! Now if I could find you on FB....
Or Legend of Zelda! A new Mario Bros based off of Mario 3 would be sick though.

The mandalorian
that would be a great theme for a pinball. the mandalorian is a huge hit. better than a lot of the star wars movies.
Quoted from Kkoss24:It will never happen but .....could you even imagine the sound of the slings !! Now this would make me very happy!!

Time for you (or someone) to strap on their big boy homebrew pants on and make it happen! (Not gonna be me )
Nah, too soon. Avengers needs some time on the line/distribs before another announcement. Probably Dec/Jan for LZ.
Quoted from Psw757:Anyone think another game is announced to coincide when Expo was scheduled in October?

I think they will release one more pin this year, but my guess is it will be in December like they did for Stranger Things.
There has been some chatter that TMNT was off schedule due to factory closure and Avengers has them back on track.
If I’m not mistaken Expo was originally supposed to be a announce/launch and thought someone in the know stated this on a podcast early in year.
There have also been rumors of 2 more games this year, one cornerstone and a studio release or whatever they are calling them.
I’m wanting LZ but hoping GNR doesn’t steal my cash in the meantime!
Quoted from Psw757:Anyone think another game is announced to coincide when Expo was scheduled in October?
I think there will be another game this year, probably a Kapow and I think it may be Queen.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:Stern’s next title will punch your lights out.

Just watching tgat hurts !
I don't think there will be another pinball from Stern in 2020. I think the factory and dealers need to get themselves upright from the COVID-19 situation. I would be glad for them to get back on track with a new pin in January.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:Forget Queen... forget Led Zeppelin... we need a Kapow D E V O pin!
Indeed.

I dunno, we're in a pandemic still and demand seems to be high for home entertainment. Stern could easily just wait until 2021 for their next machine and keep producing AIQ, TMNT, ST, JP, EHOH, and the Star Wars comic edition for a few months. That's a pretty great lineup of 6 machines and themes to rest one's laurels on for a tiny bit.

You shush.

Hell to the YEAH! I’d be all over an updated Rocky pin. Gottlieb’s from 1982 is fun from a nostalgia standpoint, but a modern one with video and call outs would be awesome.
I reckon Stern have another title or 2 ready to go this year, will they really let JJP finally reveal/release GnR without another release to steal that thunder? Doubtful!
Quoted from Psw757:Anyone think another game is announced to coincide when Expo was scheduled in October?
more likely jersey jack or Chicago gaming announcing. most likely chicago gaming. jjp has been all talk for years. not sure they will be around in 2021.
Quoted from zaki:jjp has been all talk for years. not sure they will be around in 2021.
Jjp owners are passionate about pinball and are billionaire's . They will be around for a long time to come .
Quoted from skink91:Next KME will be Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass.
Love me some Herb Alpert. Dude can play the horn. Casino Royale! He was first (only?) musician to hit #1 with vocals (This Guy’s In Love With You) and instrumental (Rise). He co-founded A & M records and sold it for like $450 million. His net worth is around $850 million. More than Paul McCartney! Re-skin TWD!
Is there substance to the Led Zeppelin rumor? I’ve heard people talking about it for over a year. It started as a Quicksilver retheme, and now it’s supposedly a cornerstone. Everyone seems so sure it’s coming. Just curious what the basis is/was.
I didn’t hear anything about Avengers until a few weeks before the reveal. Is there a chance Stern is getting better at keeping future titles under wraps and Zeppelin isn’t actually happening?

All signs point to Zeppelin. Steve Ritchie has said it's a grail game for him to do, and he did a killer job on AC/DC, so it's a good fit. Also, even though it was originally floated as a reskin, that was put to rest by mnpinball , who knows his shit when it comes to Stern rumors. He said it's a cornerstone and it's imminent. And as far as I know, he hasn't been wrong yet. HE'S the guy that should have his own podcast.

I‘d guess as soon as we hear his voice he looses his job.
I was playing some Beatles the other day thinking that people who don't want a modern Quicksilver are being silly.

I agree, only thing I can complain about is the price would need to be lower.

I think if Stern really wanted, they could turn the Beatles layout into a home pin that could be successful. Lose the magnets, take out the motor to the spinning disc and making it a spinning plate like the Avengers Pro, and trim a few corners on controllable coil counts like having the slings fire together, all the drops reset at once, and lose staged flipping. Put on a cheaper license, a nice art package, and people can enjoy a fun layout with simple objectives.

LZ on a quicksilver at pro pricing was what I was suggesting would be potentially good. Otherwise I want a full new layout like avengers for the LZ machine.

Make it a Seawitch Pro and they could sell a bunch too. Wouldn't be any less complicated than BKSOR that starts at pro pricing.
But yeah, the Beatles theme could get a cheap some moved.
Quoted from TheLaw:Make it a Seawitch Pro and they could sell a bunch too. Wouldn't be any less complicated than BKSOR that starts at pro pricing.
I think Stern might be a bit too risk averse to make a street level pro. At least with The Beatles, it was Ka-Pow taking the risk. It's also, well what do you really take/add to make it a pro vs premium. (I guess the Pro would be like my home model edition proposal and the premium would be fully featured like The Beatles)
I was watching a deadflip stream and some stuff he said about the Spike system and home game design constraints has been stuck in my mind for a couple weeks. It's kinda fun to start trimming BOM and features on cornerstones to figure out what the home version might look like. So a home version of The Beatles layout has been stuck on my mind.
Quoted from SLCpunk2113:Well... it’s official this is the only speculation thread worth visiting.
Yup. There's a reason Stern rules the pinball universe.
