Quoted from zr11990:I’m betting you are single.
On his way to being, you mean!
Just the theme music alone on Bond would make it a buy for me.
Best case scenario it's Kapow B66 level of asset/code/art/theme integration.
Quoted from zr11990:I’m betting you are single.
Im betting my better half is more understanding than most women...but it brings up the topic of moving somewhere bigger more than id like

And/or ideally....enjoys pinball?
Quoted from NeilMcRae:wait until you see the new film guys _____BOOOOOM________
Where?
Quoted from Chambahz:You mean Malcolm Forbes?
I spent a day with Malcolm Forbes a long time ago....was a nice guy.
Quoted from Budman:I spent a day with Malcolm Forbes a long time ago....was a nice guy.
Did he advise you to invest in pinball machines?
If Lyman is on code for the next game my wallet will be taking a beating. Elwin and Lyman all day for me!

Quoted from Charlemagne1987:Did he advise you to invest in pinball machines?
He spoke at our small college here( Heidelberg University) and I was his host. I toured
his B707 Jet “ Capitalist Tool” . I recall it being a few months after he crashed his hot air balloon somewhere in Europe. He was very personable and charmingly quirky.
Quoted from TheLaw:Jesus, Wow much monies and boredom could 1 person have?
Actually, I have a Ghostbusters premium with a Ghostbusters pro stacked on top as a topper. Looks cool!
Quoted from frankmac:Avengers shooter rod?
Anyone know if it is up for sale yet?
None of the accessories are available for sale yet, but you can put in a pre-order at Little Shop of Games.
Quoted from evileye:None of the accessories are available for sale yet, but you can put in a pre-order at Little Shop of Games.
Stern doesn't have a good track record of releasing accessories very fast. I wouldn't pre-order.
Quoted from pinballwil:I'am sure its back to the future.
I hope so! My dream remake with full movie rights
Is the next game going to be a Quicksilver remake or not? That rumor was going around Expo last year, just wondering if there’s any truth to it?
Quoted from John_I:OK so now that we know for sure that its Avengers and that BTTF is never coming, the next Sterns are almost surely Led Zeppelin followed by Jaws?
But what if some day, someone goes back in time.............
Quoted from Classics_Master:Is the next game going to be a Quicksilver remake or not? That rumor was going around Expo last year, just wondering if there’s any truth to it?
Supposed to be Zeppelin
Quoted from TheLaw:Supposed to be Zeppelin
Didn’t mnpinball confirm it’s not a remake but full cornerstone release?
Quoted from J85M:Didn’t mnpinball confirm it’s not a remake but full cornerstone release?
Just have to do a thread search on his name to see that answer.
Quoted from mnpinball:Nope. The rumor Quicksilver rehash to Zeppelin is false. Zeppelin is a full feature pro/premium/LE cornerstone.
Quoted from J85M:Didn’t mnpinball confirm it’s not a remake but full cornerstone release?
Too true. I hears it again recently which is why I mentioned it but I have no idea.
I hope its not, that price structure has me out right away
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Just have to do a thread search on his name to see that answer.
Thanks, I didn’t realise I could even do that
Quoted from Budman:BTTF , Bond and/ or Godzilla by Christmas would make me happy
Bond & BTTF are the only themes I’d buy now at current prices. Avengers/Marvel was also on that list but I just scratched that one off with AIQ.
Quoted from brickbuilder14:It's going to be Back to the Future! Joe Kaminkow was on a podcast 7 months ago and dropped the news. He designed the original BTTF for Data East which is now owned by Stern. He last designed Beatles and Batman 66. I can't wait! Should be incredible!
[quoted image]
Won’t be BTTF, the latest Kapow rumors I’ve heard point to Bond and the next Stern cornerstone title LZ. Who knows though..

Had the same impression when I heard Joe on the podcast. BTTF is a no brainer for another pinball IP. Want to keep things heating up in the Stern camp, when lots of others are releasing titles finally, drop BTTF and boom!

The most important thing about that interview was that he think BTTF is a fun little game... Regarding that he made it within 2 weeks. -_-;
We should propably be thankful to Stern that they now put much more time in the development cycle.

George Gomez designed Batman 66 and Beatles is a Seawitch reskin. All Joe K does is make the deal between the licensor and Stern for those.
Quoted from DS_Nadine:We should propably be thankful to Stern that they now put much more time in the development cycle.
I doubt this is the norm both teams from TMNT and AIQ said they had more time to get things done and ready due to all the covid madness.
Would love to see Stern put out all their future titles like they have launched TMNT with almost complete code and AIQ overall launch has been fantastic plus having the accessories at launch is brilliant, hopefully AIQ has fairly complete code at launch would be great for Stern to release complete games again at launch.
Quoted from J85M:I doubt this is the norm [...]
Yes it is. The development cycle is now more than 2 weeks.
OK. OK. Back to the business of this thread. What's the next pin after AIQ?
What is Steve Ritchie working on? LZ?
How many new releases (cornerstone, Kapow and vaults) will Stern put out before Christmas 2020?

I hope so. My wallet will need a break and Ritchie helps make that easier these days. Love LZ but not overly excited to play another variation of a standard Ritchie design. Does Stern not have a good retirement program?
Quoted from PBINTHESOUTH:OK.. what's the diff between a Kapow and Cornerstone title?
Srsly?
Cornerstone: 3 „Mass Market“ main games a year -> Pro/ Premium/ LE
B66, Beatles and Elvira have no Pro and and only the Sky is the limit for pricing... but they do a Premium, so that‘s ok.
