Anyone else see an 11% increase from their distributor?

I didn’t see that coming. That’s it for me new games are to hard to get a return on. Looks like it’s time to pick up more used games from the 90s.

That's what is actually happening. However, even those games are now way too popular and have increased in value. Top games were already pretty expensive.. the hobby is surfing that wave right now..

I think I have to sell a pin to make room......only room for 3 total....

I respectfully disagree still a lot of good games in the 3-4 range that earn on route.

I should have said 'in the canadian market', so you are right about the us market.

So happy this is a beauty Elwin original and not a reskin.

Agreed, this Elwin Avengers is a homerun.

Not true. You just need to sell furniture or remove your stove. Hotplate is good enough. Dining rooms are sooooo 90s.

#10059 3 years ago

You have to go Premium/LE on this one. Though the artwork on the Pro seems the nicest.
TMNT Pro is the best bang for a buck NIB imo.

Let's wait until after next week's gameplay reveals to make that call. Hard to tell which version plays better based on a couple of features videos.

#10061 3 years ago

Premium/ Le offers way to much to pass on with the title. Lifting feature for the upper left flipper to send the ball into the Subway, ramps. That is hardware you can not mod or add later.

Going LE on this one.

That's funny, I have my games in what was designed to be a dining room in the original house's floor plan.

I agree, between the subway and the Captain Marvel ramp, I would always feel as if I'm missing something with a pro. Unfortunately, I just don't have room for another machine.

But this is the first new Stern machine that I would consider buying in a very long time.

I am prem all day on this one. I agree the pro stripped out too much, but the armor on the LE is god awful. I'd rather buy prem and add my own choice of powder coat later.

Yeah, I’d prefer a Premium with the Pro cabinet art and translite.

Anybody ever buy a pro and premium and switch out the cabinets ?

You new here?

Even for these fucking people that would be extreme....?

Hmmm....is cab swapping the new thing? LE & pro buyers meet up to swap their PFs with each other?

Might have a new thing here. Stern mod store special.

#10071 3 years ago

I’m sure stern would do it for more money. The LE is the one that looks cool. The others.... meh.

That happened in the metallica days before the pro-mium version got made. I think.

I saw someone put a IMDN LE translight and playfield in a pro cabinet.

#10074 3 years ago

I seen that coming

I laughed out loud when I read your comment, don't think even Jesus would swap cabinets, lol

#10076 3 years ago

So, to get the spirit of this thread back......what's the NEXT Stern pin?

That's my grail pin, but I'm starting to lose hope they'll ever make it. Rumors have just been circling around this thing too long.

#10082 3 years ago

These last 2 games look amazing, but man I just can't own a Turtles or Avengers theme... still hanging on for Jaws.

Quoted from guss:

It would be easy to wrap pro graphics right over the top.

cost less also.

Hold out for something a little more mature, like elderly men in cat clown makeup.

Yup. We're all big kids 'round here. As Benjamin Franklin once said, "The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys."

That was actually Michael Scott.

My bad. The Ben Franklin quote I was shooting for was "Old boys have their playthings as well as young ones; the difference is only in the price." I don't know who gets credit for the previous quote I mentioned.

#10093 3 years ago

Back to the topic, a reboot of car racing theme? (Indy 500, F1, Grand Prix..). Hotwheels wouldn't feel alone..

Yep, Exactly what he said! Bring on Jaws! I showed my 10 year old, he loves Avengers-the movies but watched the
clips of the pin and said it looked stupid, that's also from a kid that likes playing IMDN so take it for what it's worth.

#10095 3 years ago

I've heard Zep & Bond....neither I'm excited aboot if the facts are true but whom knows Bond could be great.

#10096 3 years ago
