Quoted from LukyDuck:

Spaceballs! I think that would be a great pin. Just think of all of the humor you could put into it. Just thinking outside of the planet!

Blazing Saddles, History of the World Part I also.

But you gotta have a non-PC setting for any Mel Brooks pin.

Quoted from kciaccio:

Like to see a Daniel Craig James Bond machine done after his last movie is completed this year...

Update WPT a little and give us a Casino Royale pin, by far his best Bond, QoS was a weak bond and although skyfall was fantastic I can’t see that translating to a pin all that well and spectre was just a mess.

#8303 3 years ago

Needs to be something from all era of Bond in my opinion.

So we can emphasize the movie that decided to make Bond a poker player instead of baccarat because poker fascination was at an all time high back then? No thanks. Also, nothing says a Bond adventure like those amazing card game scenes am i right? Screw those classic, amazing, over the top stunt sequences. Give us cards damn it! Lol

I don't think they can do that. Supposedly, Mel Brooks made a deal with George Lucas back in the day, that they would not do any Spaceballs merchandise. I suppose it is possible that the deal had some sort of time limit, but I doubt it.

I'm not a big Bond fan so I didn't realize his game of choice was baccarat. That game is a joke, zero skill. Poker is a huge step up story-wise for a guy who's supposed to be a suave secret agent or whatever. It involves psychology, combinatorics, people reading, calculating direct and implied odds on the fly, etc. It's like flipping coins vs. chess.

I'm with you there. Almost every poker scene in movies or TV sucks.

As I've said before for me personally, it's the 25 minute golf scene in Goldfinger....jesus christ.

Bond would sell well overseas I guess, basically the only people that continue the ask for it.

Check out the Cincinnati Kid with Steve McQueen
and Edward G Robinson. It's five card stud but some
Great drama and tension.

Not a lot of stoners save their money for pinball either.....i mean, I do but not many others lol
Marley doesnt exactly scream excitement though.

I know I will probably get made fun of but. A Dragon ball pin would be sick. There is a lot of material in the show to make a great machine.

I'd rather they do Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp. Much cooler spy.

How about a really good monopoly game. One that has deep rules, good call outs, and just fun to play. It would also need to include Player vs player scoring. Something like if you complete a property set first and the reward is a multiball the next player to do it pays rent by giving you half the points he earns during his multiball. One last thing, it cannot be a reskin of the other version.

half the points so just drain it out and don't play it as you gain 0 (other then maybe replay / high score list)

I saw the extended version of return of the king at the theater last night. I want them to redo LOTR

Next up supposedly Keith Elwin's big title or Ritchie's Led Zeppelin. With the COVID delay the release order of stuff may have gotten scrambled.

#8323 3 years ago

Might be the two biggest songs ever released on pinball. Stairway to heaven and Dazed and confused.

Umm, no offense but where I grew up, the stoners were always the kids into Iron Maiden, KISS, AC/DC, etc. Given the popularity of these bands and themes in the pin community, it seems to me there are quite a few former (or old)/stoners in this hobby.

For the record, I am not interested in most of these hard rock pins because I never liked that genre of music. Preferred 80’s/90’s new wave and alternative. I’d buy a Marley pin before any of the Stern rock pins. Given I’ve never seen a pin with alternative type of music, I’m guessing I am in the minority in music tastes here.

Most* of Stern music pins are a lot of fun. Give them a shot even if you don’t like the band. Some great pinball.

I know some are good pins. I really liked the gameplay of Iron Maiden but if I'm honest, despise the band's music. Too many other good, non head banger themed pins out there for a home collection to choose from.

You should get one and replace the music with Yanni.

Oh, god. Now I want to play an Iron Maiden with THE most inappropriate songs attached to the modes. Yanni, Kenny G, Andreas Vollenweider, Sam Pilafian, Polka music. It could be epic. Maybe a special surprise for a pinball show...

Ronnie James Dio damnit. If I say it enough maybe it will happen.

Perhaps we can just get the music changed to Apocalyptica

Give these guys a whirl...you can actually switch out their covers with Maiden’s songs...hell, their AC/DC covers are hilarious too

I wish music pins just had an option to play the songs without words as well, instrumental only while the quotes go out. Any way this could be done? Just curious and would be a nice mix up.
