Quoted from Thunderbird:Get Smart would be a big seller...ball dropping down HQ phone booth, cone of silence ball lock, shoe phone dialing up mission, invisible wall magnet, list of possible mechs go on and on from that show.
yes Get Smart would be awesome pin and an aussie is on the case with his new Homebrew. I helped him design the 3d parts for the cool Cone of Silence Ball lock and place the balls on to 2 different wireforms.

Cool, but same problem as the Alien ball lock. WAY TOO SLOW.
The TopGun sequel hits theatres in July. What are the chances Stern could get the license and do Top Gun? How many would be interested in that title?

Not unless it has an Escape Scientology wizard mode.

still in testing and sure it can be speed up. It isn't my project but during that time maybe that is when the mission is given to you between 99 and chief
Personally, I want to see a Mrs. Doubtfire game, just think of the callouts:
"helloo!!!"
"help is on the way dear!"
"touch me again and i'll drown you"
"no, he was hit by a guinness truck"
"it was a run by fruiting!"
Just keep thinking about it, you'll start laughing.

You might have some problems getting that strange child from Matilda onboard.
Quoted from frankmac:Did anyone here order a Heavy Metal Pin?
Not that anyone would admit to
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:Not that anyone would admit to
Your probably right about that.

That would be a great theme. They could retheme f14 tomcat
Quoted from PinMonk:Not unless it has an Escape Scientology wizard mode.
Wont be achievable!
Quoted from Dragon:I could see this as a interesting pinball machine , collect plant defenses and knock down multiball zombie hoards[quoted image]
This would be a perfect transition for Stern to a freemium, paid upgrades, and loot box approach (when you hit "Mystery" the game pauses to say "insert 25 cents for chance at top tier rewards") to pinball play that no one wants. For that reason, I'm sure they're working on it.
Quoted from frankmac:Did anyone here order a Heavy Metal Pin?
Does a translite count?
Quoted from mannymasy:[quoted image][quoted image]
Well, they seem to have invented the most anti-boner Heavy Metal pinball machine ever. Ironic.
Whoever laid it out seems to have been a neophyte or extraordinarily bored. Really lazy work with the art layout.
I played the Star Wars home edition pin and it is fun to shoot. But it feels cheap.
This is the same layout so it should feel the same and it is possible the coding can be creative to save it. The artwork so far on this really is not impressive.
Price is way to much for a cheap feel and underwhelming art.

The artwork almost looks like they are going to set it up for a fortnite/Apex legends style game in the future.

The SJWs amongst us would have flipped out if it actually looked anything like the magazine artwork.
Quoted from Roostking:The SJWs amongst us would have flipped out if it actually looked anything like the magazine artwork.
They would have sold a lot more with some decent art for the outrageous price they're asking. If you're going do to Heavy Metal, then actually DO Heavy Metal.
It's ironic that this is a Star Wars home version reskin and they clearly are unfamiliar with Yoda's wisdom:

Come on bruh, you know they didn’t code it with anything special.
This thing was always going to sell based on art. Heavy Metal people clearly don’t care, and Stern stopped caring once the check cleared. Can’t see them making more than 100 of these. Rare for all the bad reasons

Why's that guy batting a sleeping mule?!
Beating a dead horse.
this thread is on loop
hate on stern for heavy metal
explain that stern built for a client
argue price
repeat
Quoted from Zablon:Why's that guy batting a sleeping mule?!
That mule was choking.
That man is helping.

Calling that a mule was insensitive. It clearly is a species-fluid giraffe.

and here I thought it was an american platypus and that man was a massage therapist using the tried and tested technology to work the kinks out of the distressed animal
If that is indeed the new Stern Heavy Metal playfield artwork let me just say this... someone give me some heavy metal to smash it with! LOL
Looks horrible. Stern needs to get Franchi back and fast!

It’s absolutely laughable.
