Quoted from KnockerPTSD:

It will likely be a lit up version of the gun barrel intro

Quoted from Royale-W-Cheese:

Take my money now .

Honestly I don’t think it would be that hard to make, have the gun barrel pattern fixed to a little mech that can bring it over from right to centre of the topper and have Bond walking, shooting and the blood run using a projector (Stranger Things/BM66 topper projector) projecting on the rear of the barrel opening.

Quoted from Snailpin:

Here's how I think 2020 will play out:
2020-april tmnt pro (john borg?)
2020-may tmnt premium/limited
2020-june metallica re-run
2020-aug led zeppelin (steve ritchie)
2020-sep led zeppelin premium/limited
2020-oct venom pro (just speculating/hoping, venom 2 premieres 2nd oct, keith elwin or george gomez?)
2020-oct transformers comic art
2020-nov venom premium/limited

Whats the rumors for CGC and JJP this year?
Aliens and GnR?

But please not this version of Crüe:

Actually I was thinking more something like that

What is the point of having a thread called "The Next Stern Pin"? There are other speculation threads to discuss the others.

I’m surprised another Dr Who pinball hasn’t been made.

As an American I'm not

#6861 4 years ago
Quoted from Psw757:

I’ve shot firearms with silencers quit a bit, still make some sound more than a hiss.Just sayin! Firearms are my second hobby.

Then you would know the correct term is a Moderator

Quoted from Sako-TRG:

Wrong again.. the main stream term is sound suppressor in the firearms world, that is if your aren’t using the term silencer. Maybe different over in your neck of the woods though, can’t speak to that.

Let’s get back to pinball talk

Is it not popular over there ?

Quoted from stoptap:

No not really. In sci fi circles its still pretty low on the totem pole.
Sad of course because it's always been top notch writing. For imports I hear a ton more Black Mirror hype.

Quoted from J85M:

Patience, no way the first film was good enough to be the central focus of a pin, but Venom 2 will feature Carnage played by Woody Harrelson, now who wouldn’t love a little Woody hamming up the crazy to 10 in a pin

I was unaware of this casting choice and now I'm delighted.
Venom would make an excellent pin. (well, provided the sequel does good)
John Wick is ready, too. Wonderwoman 1984 looking like a strong contender as well with its 80s soundtrack

#6866 4 years ago

I just hope Stern releases a title which no one saw coming.

You mean after someone here makes a new soundtrack version to actually include songs

Dimpled play fields will be the least of the issues if that is used for testing

Just posted on FB.
This should have been made back in the 80's.

Could this be the Quicksilver layout? I remember that the Quicksilver backglass artwork was originally ripped off of Heavy Metal magazine...

Heavy metal is amazing!!!! Maybe a dream theme. I had heard rumors of this but can’t believe it’s happening!

I don't know the movie/cartoon/whatever Heavy Metal is, but that sounds pretty cool!

Back in the late 80's (my long hair metal head days) I used to have a lifted Chevy Blazer with the Heavy Metal logo airbrushed on it. A dream theme for me.

#6886 4 years ago

the real question is, what game is it a re-theme of?

#6887 4 years ago

Is this the revised transformers machine?

#6888 4 years ago

It has to be WWE or Transformers

I am guessing maybe a retheme if Spider-Man the pin or Star Wars the pin maybe

Make sure to watch Heavy Metal. Not Heavy Metal 2000. If you liked Heavy Metal then watch the second one.

#6892 4 years ago

For those of you that missed that part of the 80s where you would go over to your buddies house and watch bootleg VHS copies of this and Pink Floyd’s The Wall while getting stoned, here is the trailer.

Brand new member to Pinside posting a flyer about a new Stern pin....

#6896 4 years ago
Quoted from Chisox:

Please post a picture of this if you have one, sounds sweet.

Wish I did. Lost all my pictures from this time. Best I can do is give you brief mental view. I was working at dealer ship in the body shop. Best friend was a mechanic. It was a 1969 Blazer/Jimmy. Dropped in 396 bored 30 over with the works. 6" suspension lift and 4" body lift. 42" Supper Swampers. Painted dark metallic blue with Heavy Metal logo on the sides. Miss those days of driving around with the top off. Long story short. My neighbors Oak tree fell on it during a storm one year. Sold it for cash to restore the 63 Chevy II I had.

#6897 4 years ago

Looks to share features with Star Wars home pin (2 steel ramps, passive two ball lock, 3 pop bumpers, opto spinner, 3 drop targets)
