Fun to hear from everyone!

I guess I should have said #3 pin! Lol.

Yeah that's the million dollar question. I don't think we are gonna find out this year tho, too many AFMs to sell still.

MBR would make the most sense.

I am thinking it will be cactus canyon. It's the most high dollar, unliscened game. That would sell good at 8k to 10k range.

This is true.

My thought was that it was going to be monster bash to go along with the universal movies reboots, but Tom cruse in the mummy bombed in theater, so I don’t know if that license will be still open for remake. Next we get bride of Frankenstein in 2019, after that it looks like creature from the black lagoon.

If universal is trying to reboot all of these franchises, would they want this reminder of the past movies to be made?

Could you imagine a MB with updated art to reflect the new releases.

MB or CC would both sell well, but this has been said dozens of times in the dozens of threads already asking this question.

#15 6 years ago

I have seen a lot of MB for sale in the market. Makes you wonder.

#16 6 years ago

This thread already exists.

#18 6 years ago

I thought it was just Bally/Williams games.
Can they do Capcom?

#19 6 years ago

There sure is alot of good titles to remake. I played an attact from Mars remake. The quality and feel was pretty good.

#20 6 years ago

Not sure of the order but these will be the next five!

Cactus Canyon
Monster Bash
Big Bang Bar
Kingpin
Addams Family

#21 6 years ago

I'm holding out for MB. Who knows? The Shadow knows.

Super exclusive ad from the Pinside Marketplace!

Aside from being rare, BBB gameplay sucks. Never played a Kingpin. TAF seems to be a licensing nightmare at least it was for Pinball Arcade.

#24 6 years ago

Highly doubt TAF will be remade, for a number of reasons:

1) 20,000 units were made. Huge supply.
2) Prices on them have been dropping for a couple of years. Questionable demand.
3) Licensing. Availability and cost.

If it ever happens, I think a total remake would be more likely. Not a remake of the existing machine.

LOL
We sell them for $9k and can't keep them in stock longer than a week or two. You must be looking for one.

Bally/Williams Pins i.e. CGC remake pins will top all other pins!!

Sounds more like you have a horse in the race and are trying to prop up prices ... I can't imagine many clued up people paying that much for a TAF unless these are very high quality full restorations, or virtually pristine originals - and then that's a limited market.

Retail operations aside, looking at ads on Pinside, EU equivalents or classifieds generally, prices on good examples of TAF used to be above MB / MM / AFM. That changed long ago. Even after MMr and AFMr they still go for a lot less.

When do you ever see people on forums, or hear pinball friends all clamouring over even a very good condition TAFG? MB / MM / AFM it's a totally different story.

There are so many of them around, and the game hasn't aged as well as other iconic 90s machines.

#28 6 years ago

I was thinking monster bash. But there are about four titles atleast they could do or more.

I hope they get to do them all and more. More pinball.

Personally not a huge fan of cactus canyon. But a modern remake done right would interest me. Also, I'm pretty sure it will be done right, if they do it.

Where will all this money come from. Good grief...

Talked to the guy at Chicago Gaming Company during the iaapa show and he said they are planning on 1 remake a year, Next announcement would be in March.

Didn’t they negotiate all the required licences but it was the combined cost of around $100k that was the roadblock, thought they used Kickstarter to sort that one out in the end?

#32 6 years ago

99% it's MB.

#33 6 years ago

CC , its NOT MB as many keep thinking.
you will see.

#34 6 years ago

I will add the other. 0.1%
That makes it 100% MONSTER BASH!!!!!!

#35 6 years ago

Even if I knew cc is next and monster bash too.

I kind of like speculating better than knowing.

I just need to save my money.

Gotta be Monster Bash

Hoping for MB and the LE with the "planked" playfield, but it might as well be CC. I wonder what kind of "continued"-code it would have though!
