There are lots of speculation discussions out there so let's consolidate into one poll.

Flame suit on.

Seriously, how many of these threads do we need?

Its Pinside so I would say 9 more... should we start a poll?

Really? You couldn't just comment on one of the other threads with your opinion? You had to make another thread with another poll?!

#6 6 years ago

Hollywood or maybe Red Baron!

#7 6 years ago

Chicago Coin? I guess since Chicago Coin changed to Stern which changed to Data East which changed to Sega and then back to Stern, I would guess the next remake (Stern calls them Vault Editions) would be LOTR or Tron.

#8 6 years ago

If we're talking about Chicago Coin and not Chicago Gaming; either Casino or High Score Pool.
Greta games. Wendel played them; he likes 'em!

So I'll put you down for the last one?

#10 6 years ago

HaHa, Chicago Coin's no longer in business. Twinky was kinda fun though.

#11 6 years ago

Seriously though, the next game to be remade is not even on your list I'm sorry to say. Time will tell.......

I voted "other". Would love either TZ of TAF.

#13 6 years ago

Voted MB however I wish it was Kingpin

#14 6 years ago

Its going to be either Cactus Canyon or Monster Bash 100%.

#15 6 years ago

What happened to Theater Of Magic?

#16 6 years ago

not for at least 3 years

#17 6 years ago

Actually their first original theme pin will be released then.

I am so badly hoping Monster Bash!!!!! I will go all out with full color screen, toppers, anything. I have a separate savings account aside just waiting for this. I am just hoping so badly this happens soon.

I was just hanging out with a BBB and I can Guarantee, with a G, that Big Bang Bar won’t be remade.

Not in this climate. Not with a green stripper, not with boobies galore, not with sexual harassing calls and sexist mode names. No, sir. My somewhat conservative girlfriend mentioned something like ‘this is a game for guys’ with a suspicious eye.

This, plus the Capcom hardware. BBBr is not on the list.

In defense of BBB, look at the artwork of most 70's and even early 80's pinballs. It is very clear which gender is being catering to That said, the callouts for BBB are pretty over the top as well.

Was doing some poking around on the intarwebs and came across this; have only glanced over it but seems interesting nonetheless:

Someone apparently did their dissertation on sexualized female imagery in pinball.

I guess PPS/CGC don't know That. with a T.

LTG : )

Whatever happened to supply and demand? If the market is willing to buy enough BBB, and they have the rights to do them, why wouldn’t they?

#23 6 years ago

BBB is a MUST!

#24 6 years ago

ToM, MB and then BBB.

Yeah what is the market for BBBr? Does anybody really know? (probably not) How many are they going to sell? More than AFMr, MBr? (probably not)
I can see them remaking quite a few other titles before BBB.

Thrilled to have learned that BIG BANG BAR has been officially been announced for an imminent re-make as per CGC. Love the game, the art and the theme, and I'm a practicing Catholic.

#29 6 years ago

It has?

I can assure you that's not an issue.

I think he means it's one of several games that Rick has announced will be remade, along with MB, CC, and TOM. No announcement would be made now since TPF was less than a week ago. CGC has done a good job keeping it a secret.

Thank you — that’s what I thought.
