    Quoted from benheck:

    Ok.
Besides the iconic album covers (art does not equal theme just ask JPOP) could someone please explain to me why IRON MAIDEN is the must-have music basic pin?

    Why, you ask?

Because the theme is perfect. Egyptian and British soldiers, running to the hills and dying with their boots on.

Their sound defines heavy metal. The galloping rifs and (Jared's favorite word) lyrics make for perfect pinball music.

Bruce could whip your ass in air combat or fencing. Not the backbusting privacy or picket type, but the "have at you" and "en garde" type.

All of the above is what makes Maiden a perfect theme.

    Quoted from Fresh_Wax:

How about a Blues Brothers Pin.

Hell yeah, you could collect all of the band members, be abused by nuns, outrun the cops, survive a country - western gig, etc. It must be played smoking a cigarette and wearing dark sunglasses.

I think Skrait Outta Compton could be pretty awesome. Cops and beats and chicks and violence and drugs and STDs
Like a weekend at o-din's, or so I hear!

Family mode would be the game on mute with a dead display.

I would actually love a Pantera pin. I was just working on Centaur in the garage the other day, sweatin' to Trendkill.

    01. If Eternity Should Fall
    02. Speed Of Light
    03. The Great Unknown
    04. The Red And The Black
    05. When The River Runs Deep
    06. The Book Of Souls
    07. Death Or Glory
    08. Shadows Of The Valley
    09. Tears Of A Clown < -----NOT a Smoky Roberson cover (I was worried...)
    10. The Man Of Sorrows

Thanks Vid. I'm off to kick some ass.

    Quoted from TBatti:

I'd like to vote no more music pins for 8 years

I'd like to see a new music pin released every year, for the next 8 years.

    Quoted from ZippyThePinhead:

In hindsight...I wish I would of put Jimi in the poll instead of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I love Skynyrd but your hindsight is correct.

    Quoted from mnpinball:

    Next music pin is Aerosmith.

Even as a fan of their early work, I really hope you are wrong.

    Quoted from o-din:

Dethklok has four members. Going back and reading some of these threads, one guy that seems to be right about certain things said the next band being done started with an "M". So I'll just leave that here for more speculation.

Crap, the four member deal leaves out Maynard Ferguson.

If I cant get an Iron Maiden I want a Link Wray pin. The kiddies would go nuts for some Comanche multiball.

Now there is one that I didn't think of. I think ZZ Top would make for a great pin.

    Wasn't that HSII?

    Quoted from ZippyThePinhead:

Only instrumental portion of "La Grange"...no vocals.

OK, without the John Lee Hooker like " Haw, Haw, Haw, Haw" it's not really La Grange.

I would actually love a ZZ Top pin. Waitin' for the bus, Jesus just left Chicago, My Head's in Mississippi, and Just got Paid for the win!

    Quoted from jimy_speedt:

I wonder how one can still listen to the band after playing tens, hundreds, thousands of games with the same recurring 10 songs. I like Metallica and I love ACDC and this is the reason why I never considered purchasing these pins.

It's not an issue. Leave the ones you like in and screw the ones you don't. Thank you Pinball Browser.

I actually gravitate towards the same tunes when I play my MET. Blackened, Battery, ...and justice for all, or Four Horsemen. I would have bought this pin whether or not I was a fan, but I happen to love their early work.

    Back to topic...

    Stern,

Listen to the smart guys and build Maiden, damn it.
They freaking rule. Please don't drool.

    Sincerely,
    Concerned Consumer

P.S. Don't f- the pro buyers in the a$$ by gimping the pro of gameplay features.
