I remember those click clacks ......... the bruises on my wrist ...........

Quoted from o-din:When I was in third grade two kids brought these to school one day. The next day almost everone had them. The day after that they were banned.

Quoted from Mr68:

Did anyone mention Yo-Yo's yet? There was a real fad there for a while and I bet I could still, Walk the dog, sleep it, rock the cradle...

We even had the coca cola team come to school to show us all the cool tricks and boy did we give our free sample yo-yos a good work out.

Quoted from pinball_faz:

No pics of this happening but every time we got a washer, dryer, couch... I got the box!
My oldest got a present when he was four months old. He threw away the toy instantly but was fascinated with the sparkly wrapping paper. He played with that piece of paper for months!
I searched for photos on the net... my houses looked more like this:

But... the possibilities:

I work in the office at a school and I give any empty cardboard boxes to the young students when they come over from class, ....... "Wow, this will make a great car / will be good for my toys to go in / I can be a robot!" Is what I hear as they run out the door.

Kids these days get too many things and don't care about them........ at least once a month someone leaves their bike or scooter behind at the school where I work ..... these were at the bike rack one Friday arvo so as usual I brought them in and then couldn't help putting a little photo shoot together lol
