Im sure Im not the first to say this but the Evel Knievel stuff in the 70s.

Whoever invented that should get an award....

Got endless amounts of shit from my mom for bashing it into things all over the house which made it even more fun.

Went as far as loading one up with M80s and jumping it while blowing it up... good times.

Quoted from BMore-Pinball:

another favorite of mine

hell ya..

I think I mentioned that one earlier. Stuntcycle has gotta be an all time top 10 greatest toy.

The thing was indestructible.. used to blow it up with M80s and it still worked.

Quoted from LTG:

I know a guy who got one of these for Christmas. But only one.
LTG : )

Oh shit.. thats mean.

Surprised my mom didnt think of that one.

Quoted from Grayman_EM:

I miss Jarts. Played them as a kid and Cornhole has nothing on them!

Jarts were made illegal as part of the pussification of americas kids years ago.

Some kid took one in the head and that was that.

My brother and I used to play dodge the jart and throw them at each other... ah the good old days.

Quoted from xsvtoys:

There's a pretty sad backstory behind that. Hard not feel bad for the dad of that little girl that was killed.

Oh Im sure thats the case... not sure making them illegal was really the answer though.

pretty sure more kids get accidentally shot per day then felled by Jarts throughout all of history.

Quoted from mooch:

I’m always on the lookout for an old school Slush Puppie machine. They are now few and far-between. I go nuts when I find one at some highway gas station. These are the ones where you add your own syrup. Far superior to Icees or Slurpees.
[quoted image]

Ooof

I probably had 500 of the blue ones.

Always gave me a headache so I have no idea why I went back everytime.

Or peer pressure : )

Good lord... when I think back to the amount of truly stupid shit we used to do for fun.

I have never broken a single bone in my body which is kind of a miracle.

And to keep on topic I still maintain the Evel Kneivel stunt cycle to be the greatest toy of all time.

Quoted from mooch:

Ha ha ha! My favorite firework of all-time is News Transmitter. I just upvoted every post on this page. I’m kinda drunk. Happy Fourth of July!
[quoted image]

My brother and I used to buy jumping jacks and stand across and throw them at each other to see if we could dodge them.

Cause we were smart.

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Not me, but some of my favorite times:

So dumb.... last night the parking was limited so there were cars everywhere.

People kept lighting stuff near cars or shooting things off that went underneath them etc...

probably not the wisest move to shoot something under a car or truck.

Quoted from zombywoof:

I had that Demo Derby set, and the SSP Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle.
[quoted image]

Pretty sure I said this already but that Evel Knievel cycle has to be a top 10 all time greatest toy.

Whoever designed that deserves an award just for the amount of grief it caused my mom as I crashed it into every single thing in the house.

Blowing him up with an M80 was always fun too.
