Wow, I had one of these!!!!!
Quoted from Mr68:Depends
First there were the barbies.... Now I'm really concerned with where this thread's heading to....
Quoted from TheLaw:I know it is starting to feel like the other 2000 mod threads on Pinside
EDIT: Oh wait people aren't glueing this shit to the top of their games
hehe.... not glued at all.... the only topper some could find...
Quoted from swampfire:There are important pinball discussions happening upstairs. Like "Is pinball a sport?". The outcome of that debate will have profound consequences. Lol.
Can't believe this thread!!!

Wow, good memories!!!!!!
Quoted from pinworthy:My mom was wrong ... I'm still not blind and don't have hairy palms
So... guess you didn't cut your balls then, huh?
Quoted from hooch333:My son and I have been treasure hunting in the crawl spaces of the house today......found the old toys of mine from 70's.

Fort Apache was so cool!
And I still have my fully working Lamborghini Countach remote control car just like yours Pontiac Trans Am (my box is in much better conditions)!
Quoted from pinball_faz:Here's my rainy day ... logic anyone??
I still have it actually. This exact package.

faz
Oh, great memories.... This one was so cool!
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Anyone ever have one of these as a kid?
$_35_(resized).JPG
Bought one at a yard sale as a kid. Only has one flipper. Apparently there were several versions of the game (some table top only) with different themes, but Sweepstakes and Interceptor were the only ones with the legs.
I had one... Asked my folks as a xmas gift... Did not like at all.... I posted a picture of it here on thread. No legs..
While all my friends rushed to the bumper-cars, my preferences were the Ghost Trains and the Roller Coasters..... Am I a little ?

Quoted from xsvtoys:But do you still have them? Mine are all gone along with all the other stuff in this thread, and don't even think about the comics I had. I don't know how many times I have said this to my poor Mom over the years.
No... My younger brother vanished with'em all.... I remember a time when my Dad came back home each and every single working day with a new one for me.... Fortunately (and I don't know how), I was able to keep only 1 (one) Majorette BMW M1.... I'll take a picture later!
Guys, my wife is actually on vacations (along my Mom and my younger sister - the 3 women of my life) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and they are flying tonight to Montevideo, Uruguay...
She sent me this picture yesterday, just to ask if I'd want her to buy it for me, so, unfortunately, I got no further info about it whatsoever...
Sorry
Quoted from Wolfanoz:Not sure if this was posted but one of my favorites... made you feel like you were on a spec ops mission dropping people in.
Now that's a f***ing cool toy!!!
Quoted from Bohdi:I'm guessing he's looking for a 1/24 or 1/18 scale, but not sure. The little one looks pretty cool tho..
Yeah, looking for a 1:18... turns out that people are asking too much for it, and the shipping costs do not help!
Quoted from Frogman:Love this thread. Agree with the, "a bike was your lifeline in the suburbs" comment, earlier.
On man, I always wanted that radio-controlled R2 but my dad never bought it to me....
Quoted from Chitownpinball:Found it!
Wow.... my uncle had this one..... I remenber I was so jeaulos of him.....
Quoted from Azmodeus:Just for fun a quick related story.
My uncle mark has two sons who have just fully moved out // even leaving thier home state each son.
One son left a box of collectibles. I told my uncle to stash it away for the sons and let them discover thier old stuff in a decade or so. He felt they would be better off or appreciate some money more now.
My thoughts are he is missing the opportunity to create magic in thier life later if he sells it all, which I'm sure is already done.
I believe the price of opening a time capsule of our childhood toys is nearly priceless in my opinion. I mean is there a single person here that would not love to open a magic time capsule delivery?
If it was me I'd tell no one, take that box to myself, and, in a decade or two, sell them back!
Quoted from Mr68:not going to last forever or take over the thread.
I do hope
Quoted from Mr68:And thanks to all for participating and enjoying this thread.
You're welcome! I really dig it (when the thread is on track)
Quoted from High_End_Pins:I thought of you
Please don't. The idea of men thinking of me makes me feel very uncomfortable...
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:Without searching, can anyone name this toy from memory?
I had this one but the brazilian/portuguese name was "PEGA-PEGA"!!!!!
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:Anyone collect old toys? I have 2 closests worth to reduce......
I don't collect but wouldn't mind if you send them my way!
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:I collect Monster stuff; aurora kits, figures, games, etc, If you have any stuff like that!
Awesome!
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Me and my dad are ressurecting our 40-yr-old slot track!
The cars!
