WOWZER...great memories here. No longer have them, but I was big into slot car racing and the ol' home AFX tracks etc. Rat Fink Skateboard circa 67(wish I still had that!) Had the Klic-Klacs that my Dad took away from me and then got banned as prior post quoted. So many toys here I had. Great stuff everybody!

And Mr. 68, the 6 finger...I think I had that! Feel better you baggy dude!!!

My favorite toy was a Walther P38 that my grandfather mailed back home from WWII.

He gave it to me for my 8th birthday, and I still have it today.

When I was a kid, I must have put 1000000000 rounds through that thing (ammo was cheap back then).

Had an Incredible Hulk one similar to that and did the same. Remember going renegade down hills when my grandfather would chase me in fear of going into traffic. Good times!

I think I'm probably even worse, because I knew they got their facts wrong in that movie when they say Oscar Goldman is the rarest/most sought after.

When I was little in the 60's they had slot car tracks that you took your own car and controller and paid hourly to race with other people.

I had this cool Oscar Goldman briefcase. If you didn't open it up this special secret way, it would "self destruct".

One of the pics o-din posted reminded me about one day back in the mid/late 60's.
pedal_car_(resized).jpg

Lost a fingernail one day when the teenagers were playing smash up derby pushing us little kids around in our steel pedal cars.
Went home to my Mom screaming bloody murder.
Still got a scar on that finger to this day.

Too bad. Once my brother took over it finally flew. And the bomb dropped.
This one definitely had wing issues.

We built our own from kits and they flew much better. What I couldn't believe is that the fuel would actually melt the plastic on those Cox planes.

That sounds like more fun than getting inside a truck tire and rolling down the hill. I only did that once.

Super Elastic Bubble Plastic - as I recall.

The others we called "Click Clacks" or was it Klick Klacks?

These were a big hit for me and a friend one summer.
We each had one, and would head down to the local pond on our bikes and blow them up once we got there.

Wow, vid, did you really have that Black Knight handheld? Those pics are of my own, including the only box still known to exist. It's ultra rare to even find loose.

No, I just stole your pics from the net.

I saw one at a comic shop maybe 20 years ago, but I think the guy wanted $1000 or something like that.

Had I known how rare it actually was.....

Voltron, Transformers, Lego, and GI Joe were the big ones for me.

Micro Machines, I loved those things.

I still actively buy Legos too.
