    Probably 4 shades, same as williams dmd boards (off, 1/4th, 1/2, 3/4 and full power).

    I believe P-Roc allows for 16 shades in theory, but only up to 5 is useful, if you try to use more than 5, the shades get too close to eachother.

    I found info that Sterns system (probably what GoT uses) allows up to 12 shades. Not sure how many are actually used.
