@jabdoa, does MPF support the Up board's GPIO ("Hat Header") https://up-board.org/up/specifications/

Quoted from jabdoa:Not yet. Do you have any particular hat in mind? There seem to be python bindings available so this should not be hard to do: https://wiki.up-community.org/RPi.GPIO
I'm designing [on paper so far] a custom controller PCB based on OPP that will interface with a Pi4 or Up board, and I'd like to use the GPIO pins for auxiliary inputs (switches) and outputs (lamp drivers and maybe extra coil drivers). For the Pi4 I'd use the MPF Raspberry Pi support ( http://docs.missionpinball.org/en/latest/hardware/rpi/index.html ). Since I'm not sure the Pi4 will have enough processing power for a homebrew machine I'm thinking about, I'm exploring using the oft-recommended Up board.
