fish tales, then about a month later HS2 bug bit me hard! gotten all these machines since august!
A GnR I brought back from the dead was my first.
I've been a busy, busy pinball guy since. Up to 5 machines (hopefully adding a couple more this weekend!).
My first was BK. I paid 325.00 at a state auction. It came from Eddyville penetentary, had a KSR number wood burned in the shooter rail. Traded it even for a BK2k...back in 96. Love that game
damn, it was a dolly parton a few years ago, sold it i think it was 3 weeks later... do i miss it?
not a second, man that game was ... and ...
now up to seven, was at 10 for a while.
My 1st pin was bought about 2 1/2 years ago.. Jurassic Park.. I still have it in my collection.. It was pretty much a Plug and Play machine when I picked it up.. I think I played it for almost 3 months before I realized the rear GI lights weren't working or went out.. Either way, that was my 1st repair also..
One of these days I hope to find a good deal on a Topper for it.

Somewhere between 86 and 87 I bought a Space Mission for $50.00. Several years later I sold it for $50. still miss it.
Black Hole was my first pin and it was free. Was a ima throw it away rescue pin!. Superman was 150.00 and crusin was 4500.00. Looking at a 1984 Karate champ arcade and a memory lane and a target alpha as we speak.
Not my 1st pin, but here's my 1st EM.. These are before and after pics. Someone must have had it in a barn for years before I picked it up..
BTW that was also a nishinjin MARILYN MONROE PACHINKO MACHINE Hiding between crusin and the Bh.
Thats an amazing shape pin ssathre! I enjoy getting the neglected ones and bringing them to their at least playable former glory. But that should be used as a benchmark for any EM restoration!
My first pin is the one I currently own and will always own, Star Race. Have owned several others in the past but always sell them off and will own more here and there. I don't think I've ever had more than two pins in the house unless one was sold and waiting to be picked up. Just can't part with SR, it evokes memories of growing up and finding pin-lust for the first time!
1966 casanova. had it almost 2 years i think now. 300 $ down from 600$. still have it, great playfield, backglass, plays well. i just need to find a backbox for replacement then decal and repaint the cabinet.
any have a 1966 williams parted out pinball? lol, i haven't had any luck finding a backbox.
I can still remember very clearly back in 1979 when I played a Williams Flash for the first time. I was used to playing EM's - so I was completely blown away by sounds and lights of Flash. It made a HUGE impression on me. ....fast forward 30+ years, and I was thrilled to make it my first pin.
