After reading hundreds of posts and seeing so many Game room pictures with a wonderful varity of games. I am curious how long you have been in this hobby and what was the criteria or circumstances when you purchased your very first pinball?

one common thread is most first games were picked because of memories from playing that game in the past or a love of a Theme! I love that even if your first game was years ago or in the last mouths it still evokes excitement today!

jfh. I love that you did that for your daughter! (Was it a good thing she didn't ask for real pony? LOL) I am hoping to get a WOZ for my kids as they LOVE the game play video on youtube!

I wanted Pirates of the Caribbean since it was the first game I played in about 20 years and I loved it! Then I seen LOTR and I must have that one ASAP! I was thinking maybe I was little odd basing my first Pin on love of theme rather then potential game value. I am NOT alone I am hoping to get my first Pin in 3 weeks or so and so excited!

I seen the ECWOZ on youtube as my first ever pinball game play video only to find out I missed the boat big time lol so I settled for a preorder on the THLE. Youtube gameplay videos have really been helpful in selecting games....that's where I met LOTR! One day and possibly my first pin! I have 2 in mind we shall what one makes it to my house first!
