I definitely remember chimp flipping a harlem as a young lad. And a ton of em's that I will never remember (mid 80's timeframe). I remember my brother saying it was "cheating" to trap the ball up, haha.

My family was into camping growing up, and it seemed nearly every campground had a rec hall with a couple of video games and pin.

I want to say the first game I realized there were rules and skills involved was F-14, maybe in '88 or so.

The first game I recall getting somewhat "good" at was cyclone a year or so later (as the games were swapped out yearly).

I distinctly remember when Banzai Run came out (there was one at my local movie theater), and thinking how crazy cool it was. I remember it being so frustratingly difficult. And I think it was $.50 vs. $.25 for the other games then.

I VIVIDLY remember seeing T2 when that came out like it was yesterday. MIND. BLOWN. The DMD made it so "special" then.

I fondly remember when AF was literally everywhere. Every pizza place, theater, family rec places, social clubs, etc. When the other kids were lined up waiting to play SFII/Mortal Kombat, this guy was starting "SHOWTIME!!!".

    Ahh, memories.
