Simple question, maybe a dumb question? How do I now what volume pot to use with each pin? So some of my manuals/schematics show the value for the volume pot but others don't or I can't find any info on them.
How do I know? Does it matter? What are the implications if I install an improper value pot?

So I’m not going to ruin anything if I put a 5k pot where a 10k pot was? Maybe my ears? Ok it’s worth trying for some practical experience.

If you use the wrong pot you could get very sick, you want only high quality pot and probably 1 kg is sufficient for a game.
