I am populating the top of my new Cyclone playfield. What tool do you use to screw in this post into the playfield? I haven't found a socket that works. Thank you.

Take rubber ring off. Deep well socket.

Sizes can vary, so you need to figure that out on your own.

Tiny open end wrench also works.

I had a hard time finding a deep well plastic handled socket wrench that was deep enough so I drilled one of my hollow handle ones out to accommodate it and only use it specifically for these cases.

I purchased one of these small wrenches from Titan but can't find it. Thanks for the help everyone.

    That might be too small.

I've always used a deep socket.

I bought a set of these several years ago:

I have a 4 in 1 screwdriver that happens to be the right size with no bit in it. It's not a sure bet, because I also have one that doesn't work. It's worth a shot.

I agree with using a deep socket - that flat wrench he is referring to is for holding the post while unscrewing the acorn or lock nuts on top of the plastics. Additionally, there's a very good chance that the playfield could be scratched.

I like using a 6-1 screwdriver as they usually have a 1/4” and 5/16” that have a deep reach for these. The. You have a #1 and #2 Philips and two slotted sizes.

    6-1 screwdriver is the way.

    6-1

I prefer something with a soft grip like a Greenlee but whatever

I bought a cheap small deep socket set from HF and then I drilled out to accommodate the post

Ahhh yes...I had one of these with a blue handle. Of course, I can't find the darn thing. I wonder if this one would work:

Yep that looks like that will suit.

I went to Harbor Freight today and got a 6-in-1 screwdriver. It was on sale for $1.29. Could not beat that deal. Thanks everyone for your help.
