MET Premium is one of the best ever. It's amazing fast paced pinball, with TONS of variety.
If you can stand the theme, and like modern pins, Mustang Premium or LE is an absolute blast. I personally HATE the theme, but the game is amazing. Shoots great. Tons going on.
LOTR is one of my all time favs.
Congo is a blast, and well priced.
BSD if you want something older and brutally hard. Theme fits nicely with Met too.
Whatever you get interested in, play it as much as you can before you buy it.

Yes, Tron is amazing. I was playing it all weekend.
I just put a WOZLE next to my MetLE. Total opposites game play wise and in theme it brings a nice balance to my gameroom and has somthing for everyone guys and girls young and old 
If you like fast and brutal IM is a great choice. For me MET is a really fun game that can get to be on the longer end (long being 30 minutes to me). IM is a super intense challenge and if you ever get any games over 10 minutes you just had an insanely great game. I won't own another LOTR....way too long.
