I store my old glass. You never know when you might need it. I replace old glass with invisaglass or pdi glass and keep the original in case something breaks.

Quoted from ForceFlow:Yikes, those two brands of glasses are nearly $300 each
How does it compare to Bob's playfield glass?

I've never owned Bob's although I did look into it and it looks very nice. I first bought PDI glass for my STTNG and it was so awesome I couldn't believe my eyes. When I bought WOZLE it came with invisiglass and honestly I couldn't tell the difference. I swapped them back and forth and really couldn't tell the difference at all. I have recessed lights and unfortunately they are positioned directly over the pins and the glare is really bad without this type of glass.
I bought 2 sheets at the JJP open house on sale. Yes the 1st sheet was $295 but the 2nd sheet was 1/2 off and I didn't have to pay for shipping
It's not cheap - but it's the BEST MOD EVER - IMO - for 2 reasons:
#1) It makes all your other mods look better
#2) It's one of the only mods you can have forever. You can take it from pin to pin...
I've had people try and grab the ball not realizing the glass is on. It's really that good.
