Quoted from Murphdom:
Out of curiosity what do you use as a degreaser and what part water/cleaner ratio? I have used naphtha followed by novus 2 and carnuba in the past. I recently came across a pretty filthy playfield I have yet to tackle and Iām looking to try something new to get rid of the gunk.
I use a generic water-based degreasing cleaner I found at Lowes - seems to be similar to Windex, but green. Always be sure to wipe down immediately and thoroughly, because the water can damage the wood I'd left on.
Naphtha is good for ground-in hard-to-clean grime and you can use poster putty to lift out dirt in planking and fine cracks. Also: Never ever ever use Magic Eraser on a play field. It will strip the protective varnish (and the paint and the primer) right off.
