Harry Potter has a lot of fun possibilities. Get sorted by the Hat, which unlocks different perks. Hit up the Wizard Wheezes for special tricks and bonuses, or Honeydukes for a treat in the form of a mini-mode. Ball saves are indicated by a swirling Remembrall between the flippers. Go to classes to start modes, which slowly reveals the threat of Voldemort, who you fight in the (HEH) wizard mode, struggling to keep his Avada Kevadra beam from outmatching your own and reaching the drain.

Blade Runner would be fun, if they kept the philosophical quirks and really went to town on the neon look, which could be achievable with LE wire. That could literally be a city under the glass.

Not quite Monty Python but Time Bandits would be a hoot. Wacky cast, time/space-hopping, extravagant villain, lots of fun imagery, quotes, and concepts to play with. And a dark sense of humor.

Blade Runner would be fine if it's not a suffocatingly obedient license. It could be a mood pin like BSD, with a cool retro analog-synth soundtrack and a dark palette strung with LE wire "neon" signs and rain effects on the LCD. You could hunt for replicants, hit up the ramen stand for playfield upgrades, go on a spinner chase, hide from weird clowns, push a replicant in a Voight Kampff test, etc. It could also tie in with Blade Runner 2049, which will probably be more action oriented, given the other modern remakes, sequels, and reboots. It doesn't have to be a playable clip show.

Christine! There could be a scaled-down model of the Plymouth Fury grill replacing the DMD, with the speakers behind the grill itself and the headlights that actually turn on and blind the player at key moments (or scare passerby on attract mode). You could have a big looping overpass ramp with little sodium-vapor street lights on it, the pops could be a demolition zone, there could be a crane with a magnet that drops the ball into the junk yard behind the garage. Collect victims, turn back the odometer, find new old stations on the radio to listen to the best doo-wop/rockabilly hits from the fifties, and succumb to the power of Christine. Imagine a big bass speaker in the cabinet with a shaker motor that rumbles when you change gears or run someone down. There could be a rear-view mirror with a pepper's ghost illusion of two eyes that slowly get more and more ghoulish, and an in-playfield LCD that mimics the green speedometer that tracks your progress.

I've thought about this a lot. I'm not sure how it would work, but I've certainly thought about it. The other question is who are you playing - the car, or the people fighting back? Are you bashing yourself? Maybe if you put together some folding panels...the sides could collapse, the roof could drop...

I think the suggestion before has been that she thinks it's "seedy".

I was gonna suggest Stepford Wives, but maybe given the demographics of Pinside that would cut a little too close to home for some.

As long as we're doing throwback and/or music pins (well, throwback music pins), can't we have a Talking Heads "True Stories" pin? Lots of humor, great soundtrack, plenty of good concepts for playfield action and modes. Plus, all the music video segments lend themselves really well to an LCD display.
