Call of Duty- World at War
Axis vs Allies
Quoted from Aeolus7:1. Legend of Zelda
If done by the right designer then yes. A Pat Lawlor Zelda would be off the chain.
Quoted from shovelhed:Axis vs Allies
100% this. A WW2 military strategy style only theme would be a phenomenal theme.
A Roman military strategy or American Civil War would be great also.
None. Too many great themes have been wasted on below average or boring games or games with orphaned code. BM66, Rolling Stones, etc.
I prefer to wait and get a Premium, saving money vs the LE and getting a chance to play before I buy. Been burned in the past and have learned my lesson.
Quoted from Rarehero:There's already a BTTF that plays like a turd. Just get that one.
Yeah but, it's not an LE! Come on RH, these guys want to burn $9,000 not $2,000.
Not likely I would buy a pin sight unseen either; but with detailed pics, I would be most tempted by a Harry Potter, Zelda or Scooby Doo game.
Would also love to see a Muse music themed game, but unlikely there's enough of a pinball market for this band.
Quoted from Rarehero:There's already a BTTF that plays like a turd. Just get that one.
Would love to, they just don't turn up for sale in Australia....unless you pay $12,000 to the guy that is selling his signed by Christopher Lloyd.
I'd rather an updated version with clips from the movie and in pristine new in box condition.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Chrome package from JJP, I will consider buying without playing it, but must see it first.
Themes I would buy 2 JJP LEs or 1 Stern LE sight unseen:
- Superman or Justice League
Themes I would buy 1 JJP LE sight unseen but would wait from any other manufacturer:
- Princess Bride
- Big Trouble in Little China
- Harry Potter
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Star Wars
- Goonies
- Neverending Story
- Predator
- Alien
It might be a weird suggestion and would obviously have to be altered some but I'd love to see the Pinball Fx classic Sorcerer's Lair made into a physical game.
Yes Scooby-Doo ABSOLUTELY
my favorite cartoon as a kid and such rich source material - even I am able to think of cool ideas based from the original show - trap doors, vanishing ball and secret hideaways a-LA TOM,
wow this would be GREAT theme -> automatic LE buy for me
PS - if they were to put (s)crappy-doo in the game I would have to burn it
PSS - this is such a no-brainer for me (like Rush as a music pin) that no-one will ever do it...
I wouldn't buy sigh unseen, but the themes that interest me the most would be:
Back to the Future
Stranger Things
Guardians of the Galaxy
Tombstone
Guns n Roses
Led Zeppelin
The Beatles
Mad Max!
Especially the music in the the last movie Fury Road.
Or a Thunderdome Madmax -> 2 balls enter one ball leaves!
There's never been a more optimal time for a Dead Kennedys "Nazi Punks Fuck Off" LE. Richard Spencer bash toy... everytime you hit him he starts growing dread locks.
Quoted from TigerLaw:If done by the right designer then yes. A Pat Lawlor Zelda would be off the chain.
That would be amazing... Miyamoto meets Lawlor in a mode-heavy game. I think this would work beautifully as there is not nearly enough role playing in pinball rules for my taste. I can't think of a title that does this well. Imagine collecting a key to open a chest that gives you a bow/arrow that allows you to defeat a dungeon boss with a series of shots aimed at the bosses weak points. Or "thowing" bombs so you can gain access to a hidden cave. Instead of bonus multipliers, collect the red tunic so you can access a fire dungeon mode.
Quoted from hocuslocus:Scarface
Scarface would rule! And I wouldn't put it past any pinball manufacturer to use a license that old.
James Bond
Beatles
Metal Gear Solid
Futurama
The Last of Us
Wayne's World
Queens of the Stone Age
Tony Hawks Pro Skater
Quoted from waltgman:Beastie Boys would get my money
I'm kind of sick of music pins, but that could be a cool one.
Quoted from Draegermeister:Insane Clown Posse. With a "Magnets... How do they work?" toy.
It would HAVE to be this version:
https://vimeo.com/20002765
Slayer
Scarface
Blade Runner OG
The Running Man
Total Recall
Doom
Castle Wolfenstein
Darksiders
many others that will never be made.
I just thought of another candidate for LE ....
Indiana Jones 5 release date 2019, if it was done right it would be hard for me to pass up.
Oh no.....just came from the BM66 thread......J85M brought up that Superman 78 has it's 40th anniversary next year.....my resistance is futile....an LE would be an instant buy for me ( I do need therapy)....
Quoted from MK6PIN:Superman 78 has it's 40th anniversary next year
That better include #2 without Zod I have no interest.
I wouldn't buy an LE and I wouldn't buy sight unseen, but I would give much consideration to a Megadeth pin. Vic Rattlehead art eveywhere sounds pretty good to me.
