Vegas, get a cheap room somewhere. World's Largest Super 8 is close to strip and cheap. If near the strip go to the Stage Door Casino and get a beer and hotdog for $3. Delicious hot dog and amazing people watching bar. Mr. Beijing for Asian food. Pinball Hall of Fame. Then go back to Stage Door. Maybe walk the strip and people watch. Don't go to the big casinos to spend money. I have to check out Fremont Street next time I am down there.

Also Reno rules! Wells Ave is getting quite the assortment of pins right now.

Quoted from mcluvin:

Yes! Love that skillet breakfast!

Ellis Island, right next to the Super 8! I like that steak special! My friend still says their Fish and Chips are the best he has ever had. I think that the beers they make are pretty lame, but I drink them anyway!

You can tell that place has good deals by all the cab drivers in there at 5 in the morning.

Quoted from mcluvin:

The morning steak special started getting a little iffy for me. I'd get a good one, then the next one would be shoe leather. I saw somebody get the breakfast skillet and decided to try it.

I always got the steak for dinner. I had to live in the Super 8 for a month once for work. Good times! Lots of Ellis beer!

Quoted from MrBally:

Also, if it has wheels.....

Not these days. I have 4 reliable vehicles. Probably worth $14,000 total. I turn my own wrenches, but damn used cars are cheap these days.

Also a bunch of people have mentioned Reno as a viable cheap alternative to Vegas. We are missing the glitz here, but damn I love this city.

Reno has been getting a few more sweet locations to play pinball. Jub Jubs Thirst Parlor and The Hideout Lounge have 4-7 pins each now. Walking distance to each other off of Wells Ave.
