Quoted from rotordave:

I don't think anyone minds spending money.
It's just being bent over by Corporate America that people aren't a fan of.
- resort charge? Really? Just a rip off.
- car parking? When it's been free for 50 years?
- etc
- etc
It's fun not to pay for this stuff.

no tolls there yet but the rent a car places change the very high admin fees for just one toll in the usa.

Quoted from rotordave:

Yeah, from memory last time I stayed at the Nugget (last year) they had the "resort fee" and they also had the Las Vegas tax of $10 per room a night (from memory) as an additional charge.

at least the airlines are forced to list the all in price. We need the same law for hotels.

Quoted from Billc479:

We finished Las Vegas with a trip to NY, NY arcade. 10 new machines, $1.50 per game. Metallica was asking for a little bit of love, but still worked fine.
The Pinball HOF was great - a few more videos than I remember in the past, but still an excellent place to play. In the building next door was a place selling video games, a few pinball machines, and other memorabilia.
All in all, seeing and playing all the pinball machines made being in Las Vegas much more tolerable. BTW - I managed to spend four days there and not gamble - all my money went for beer and pinball.

Beer is free with the slots and you can slow play sigma derby at $0.25 a bet and get free drinks.
