Oh wait it's covered now by all these little bars and shops to get more money everywhere you walk. Got a good rate thru AAA to stay at the Palazzo and parking is actually free.

After being here for a night I have a few thoughts. Food prices on the strip are unreal. I wonder if it's related to vegas rebranding to conventions and trade shows. People get to "expense" their food so there isn't as much sticker shock. Seeing a lot of name tags/lanyards, maybe there's more money on the weekday business people than weekend partying.
Also. Couldn't agree more with the children and strollers complaints. For sin city, there sure seems to be a lot of young and impressionable minds wandering around.

They re-branded it a couple of times, and I think the last version was the Sirens of TI.....but it always drew a crowd, and ultimately it drew a lot of folks into the casino. But gaming floors are supporting the properties less and less, and now the concentration is on shows, food and retail, as a result of it being a "family destination" full of vacationers who are not hard core gamblers. I have been in meetings with Phil and his son, and although he often looks like a hermit, the one thing he knows how to do is to make money. He was the one guy in Vegas that made a crapload of money and then sold for a premium just before the collapse. Then he comes back on the tail end of that crash and buys TI for pennies on the dollar. He will no doubt make money on this deal, but it is sad to see a Vegas Staple disappear.
