Anyone want to take a crack at what is going on here? I am not liking the looks of this.
Game works, but I can't stand seeing twist on wire connectors.

At some point, I want to get this thing back to the way it was designed, and I don't mind using new boards.
thanks in advance for your perspective and guidance.

Cyclone.
The orange wire nut is the white wire on the left.

Quoted from KenLayton:

That 12 pin Molex connector is burnt so someone bypassed the burnt pins. They did that instead of simply ordering the correct parts from Great Plains Electronics.

So theoretically and practically speaking, I could just replace the burnt pins? That sounds pretty straightforward.

Quoted from Mamushka:

With the questions you have asked my advice would be to reach out to a local collector who has the proper tools and is familiar with this type of repair. Either that or get some junk boards and hone your skills on them. If you don't know what you're doing you can turn lightly hacked into a f-en mess in a hurry.

Truth. Thanks!

Quick question for those who know,
What are the four yellow wires in the bottom left of the image?
GI connections? see zoomed photo...

Another ignorant question....
I notices hacked wires on one connector in this small board mounted on the left side of the backbox.
Any idea what it is?

Ok, so I downloaded the manual and unless I'm missing something, those are the GI connectors....
