What Pinside shorthand do you prefer for the new Elvira game?
E3 (aka Elvira 3)
EHOH (first letters from the actual game title)
Something else
and why?

Quoted from robertmee:It wasnt E2 or ESS.
...but it was EATPM. Her name isn't in the title of Scared Stiff, hence no ESS.

Perhaps, but it was scared stiff with your host elvira, and it was elvira's stiffometer on the playfield. I just think the E is redundant, EATPM not withstanding.
Oh wow, retaliatory downvoting in an acronym thread, and it's only Monday! We're gettin' into it this week, fam.

Hey, your monday is MY Friday. Not everyone works M-F 9-5. Back off!

Hey who works at all anymore?
Call it whatever you want. I just want to call one of them MINE.
According to measurements noted on the new playfield, then call it 36DD and everyone will know to which game it refers.
Quoted from Lounge:This place is worse than the government with the acronyms.
ROFL
"Since the VP is a VIP we should keep the PC on the QT else he could end up an MIA, then we would all be on KP"
Should just be "Elvira" seeing as how everybody will likely know what game is being referenced in 2019 discussions and going forward.
Regardless... whatever gets deemed the 'correct choice' by the council of pinside elders will be the last one I use for discussing the game. Hell I might just type out the entire title of the damn game because typing is easy.
Eek:
Eek is defined as a sound you make when you are suddenly scared or surprised. Eek is what you would say when you suddenly see a mouse in your kitchen. YourDictionary definition and usage example.
EHoH works...but the "o" has to be small.
(Insert joke about Elvira having a big O here)
Quoted from twinmice:How about Elvira 3??? It takes 2 more seconds to spell it out?? Have we all become that lazy??
A friend of mine used to say TSPP (Tee Ess Pee Pee) when talking about Simpsons..I'm like "we're not online...just say Simpsons". Makes me laugh when people say "Toadin'" (TOTAN)...just say Arabian Nights.
How bout we just leave it up to cassandra at expo? Seriously we’ll tell her whats up and our thoughts, and let HER pick. I think it would be a neat tip of our hat to her, and we get an acronym from the source of the theme.

Do you type ToTAN? Or LoTR? Or CftBL?

The first intelligent suggestion I've seen here, ever!
I'm into it. We must all sign a binding legal document vowing we will respect the results of her choice, and acknowledging financial penalties for attempting to influence the judge!
EHOH ... started using it a year ago!

....as she thinks to herself "what a bunch of f'ing dorks"
( . ) Y ( . )
Oh snap, I went with EHH -- I wonder how many games we include the O and how many we do not -- someone would have to research that...
Quoted from aztarac:....as she thinks to herself "what a bunch of f'ing dorks"
LMAO.
Quoted from RobertWinter:I voted EHOH, as should everyone!
I say we let KOAEG* decide.
* king of all elvira games
