We know that the parts are there for a dozen games that can't be sold as Predator.

So what should Kevin retheme them into in order to send the first 12 customers at least something if there is no money left for a refund after his criminal defense?

Quoted from nintendo:

I wonder what Skit-B would rename the pin to? "Alien Hunter"?

Maybe:

You can actually still call it Predator - you can't trademark an actual word used regularly in the english language.

But, you can't use the typeface of the movie nor any of its' IP images and sounds

Fake pinball machines have a lot in common with fake gold mining.

Hope they don't show M.A.S.H. up there. Still can't believe they had a character named that.

He could just call it SKIT-B pinball but the long periods of silence wouldn't make for very good game play and the coin return would always be broken.

This is seriously an anagram for Predator......

Prorated!

In case your not familiar: prorated = the partial refund you get back when a policy is cancelled early.

Or by the strict definition: to make a pro rata distribution

How about "Harry Potter vs Darth Vader"?

If you're going to faux license, might as well aim for the stars.

Also an anagram:

Parroted - "to imitate without thought or understanding."

How about Steve Ritchie's red-headed step child?

Ohhhh.... I'm gonna burn for that one...

I'm really concerned by the Skit-B polemic. Even though they failed at some point, I do believe that there is room for such a great effort of pinball design. Licensed pinball sure is a great way to improve your chance for financial success but it's been proven that's it's not always mandatory.

I wish that current pinball design would not always focus on adding new bash toys, modes over modes over multiball, but rather on the storyline. Pinball design is a great opportunity to tell a story and to engulf the player in a whole new world.

So let's fool around and see what can come out of what we got with the Predator theme. We have hunters being hunted by an alien. Depending on your angle, this could almost sound like a cheesy sci fi z-movie from the 50's. Why not try this angle by adding a lot of humor. I'm thinking CFTBL style.

"Intergalactic Space Lord Hunter" would definitely sounds like a fun machine.

i don't need/want a "storyline".... i just wanna play pinball man... see target, hit target... keep ball from draining... "pinbally type stuff"...

How about "Predators in Gen Pop"? Kevin can finish the code when he gets back.

They could call it ROBOWAR, and rip-off this Predator/Robocop rip-off (which looks freakin' awesome by the way)
