There are a handful of bright spots (I played one in Tokyo until it shut down), but the amount of pinball available to play per capita in Asia is a tiny, TINY fraction of North America. Asia has almost 10x the population of North America with 1000x less pinball to play. It IS a pinball dead zone currently.
And likely because of that, if you get a reimport from Japan it will be pristine, unlike the usual situation with European reimports that often have the crap beat out of them and weird hacks done.
