Hi, I am running out of gameroom real estate and down to the last slot for my pinball collection. I am torn in the choice but would love your inputs.

    Curent pinball collection:
Oldies : Baby Pacman (it's an acquired taste) ; Fathom (haggis order)
    Williams : #IJTPA ; #TZ ; #STTNG ; #TOM ; #WH20 ; #TOTAN ; #MB ( remake )
    jjp: #POTC ; #WOZ ; #HOBBIT
    stern : #LOTR

    Any Idea?

    Scared Stiff

    #3 2 years ago

    a nice collection there
everybody else will say a newer Stern
i'd add something from the Williams sys 11 era
Creature from the black lagoon is also fun
or just wait until Hagis remakes Eightball Deluxe (eventually)

    #4 2 years ago

    EHOH

    #5 2 years ago

    Spanish Eyes

    #6 2 years ago

I second a modern Stern. EHOH is a great one.

They have a different character in play and rules to give you a more diverse lineup. A sys 11 isn't substantially different than your current Williams machines. JP, IMDN, DP would be great additions too.

People always laugh at band machines, but there isn't anything better than cranking up a Led, Aero, or ACDC really loud and knocking out a few games and beers with friends.

Or go the other direction and get a good EM.

    #7 2 years ago

Thanks alot, obviously EBD ( remake ), SS et COTBL were on my radar. Spanish Eyes looks fun to me on a virtual pinball, not sure about the lasting power. going to reflect on EHOH and JP. Hard Rock themed pinball may have a low WAF factor in my household. What about GOT LE ?
who are IMDN and DP ?

I prefer the Pro, but it's a fun game either way imo with a few different ways to play.

Thanks Isjack . the Pro looks more empty, but I heard before that is more fun.

EHOH looks similar to MB and MM according to that post :

Jurassic park or maiden, by miles the best sterns since lotr

    #11 2 years ago

    Something older;
Bally; Fireball, Capt Fantastic, Wizard, Flip-Flop
Gtb: Black Hole, Spiderman, Sinbad, Mars;GOW, Haunted House, Pro Football
    Wms: Aztec, Gorgar, Spanish Eyes

    So many more.....

    #12 2 years ago

    EHOH

    #13 2 years ago

    Jurassic Park premium

    #14 2 years ago

    IMDN = Iron Maiden
    DP = Deadpool

Guess I don't consider Aerosmith a 'hard rock' theme, it's pretty light. The songs are all mainstream, and so are most of Led Zep & ACDC's. They are the first machines people usually play when they walk in my place. people are tired of rock themes, but they get played more heavily than anything else.

    #15 2 years ago

Indeed zarco "Haunted House" is just amazing. I seen it moded with multi ball once. Just nasty.

    DP = WAF says no

I can see a consensus on EHOH or JP, thx for all the inputs.

Black Knigth = will reflect on rock themes, not my cut of tea normaly; but neither was TZ

    thx everyone

Final pinball in a collection? No such thing.

This. Even if you are out of room just keep playing. You will eventually want something new. When that time comes sell whatever you've been playing the least and keep the machines rotating.

CGCs cactus canyon remake , classic 90s game with improved code can never be wrong.

    #19 2 years ago

    wonka or iron maiden.
    Dark horse TNA.

    #20 2 years ago

If you get a P3 you can keep growing your collection without the need for more space.

    #21 2 years ago

Nice collection. I kno this runs against the grain, but how bout a wedgehead? To round things out.

I love Baby Pac-Man, it would be that or WH2O
Great games. Baby Pac when setup correctly is incredibly challenging and fun

    #23 2 years ago

I’d get a new title since you have the older games covered. A LCD stern.

    Deadpool
    Maiden
    Mando

    #25 2 years ago

You need at least one music theme, just pick the band you enjoy the most.

    #26 2 years ago

Keep that last spot as a floater and move games in and out - no such thing as a final pin..........

    Addams Family

    #29 2 years ago

Thanks everyone, indeed I could maybe squeeze 2, but one is more ‘reasonable’.
TAF = bit like TZ isn’t it?
Yes my pac baby is up and running on an old screen which is super cool. I understand it is not everyone taste but I must I spent a year of tuition fees in it when I was 14 on location
Not sure about P3, I am all supportive and understand the appeal for limited space allowance, but is isn’t my case and I don’t want to have to setup a game when I am a urge for a play. I already find the jjp boot time borderline
Cactus = i am not keen on guns, I am sure it’s a great pinball but will pass.
Meanwhile read about Jurassic park and it could be appealing

    #30 2 years ago

You should get over the thought you are out of room.
Time for creative space allocation .

If you heve burning desire for a new title will find room .

    Shane

    #31 2 years ago

Spiderman, Iron Man, Jurassic Park or Iron Maiden. No on TAF.

    #32 2 years ago

I would say Spiderman VE. I love this game by Steve Richie. Totally different from Stern LOTR.

    Good luck.

    #33 2 years ago

Hold out for Pulp Fiction, which is a rumored Mark Ritchie game.

    #34 2 years ago

I see a lot of long ball time games, you need something with some short ball time brutality. I vote
    IRON MAN

    great collection!

    #35 2 years ago

The “final” pinball in your collection? I don’t know…maybe one where the cabinet can be converted into a casket? …just brainstorming here.

    #36 2 years ago

An EM or early SS game you like

    #37 2 years ago

    Firepower

    Bam!

    #38 2 years ago

I would add a AFM to the line up.

    #39 2 years ago

I can’t imagine not owning IM. It’s a must for me, but I usually take a couple of blood pressure pills before playing.

I’d also consider SM and FG, good rules and fun to shoot.

    Not even close
I own both and those are two totally different pins

    #42 2 years ago

Concur I own both as well and have had them for over 20 years. Amazing pins both are classics.

    #43 2 years ago

Well again thanks for all your inputs. Some of the proposals were well on sight others are new to me.
Spiderman ve : indeed great but somehow similar to mb
Well noted that the TAF is different than the TZ from owners.
Will look at IM , not a fan of AFM , playfield bit empty to me
I agree a punitive pinball is somehow missing ( Potc can be btw )

Current short list: HH EBD TAF SS IM JP

    Hehe

    #44 2 years ago

    Sell your TOM and TOTAN

    #45 2 years ago

why so? they are nice flow pinballs and have a very good WAF

    #46 2 years ago

JP for the win. It's truly a masterpiece.

    #47 2 years ago

Just to be sure, we are talking the stern one, not the data east one which looks meh
