I have been looking at different toppers. Factory, tilt toppers, homebrewed, etc. Some good, some not so good. It's easy to list the popular ones...Wh2o, Fishtales, Whirlwind. I just got a JP2 with the tilt topper and really looks good. MMr royal looks nice also. We have also seen a couple really bad toppers, looking at you SW. Damn R2 motor was louder then the game volume. Please post some pics..the good the bad the ugly.
Doctor Who topper with the moving Dalek is pretty awesome.
I used to have a getaway with led flashing red and blues instead of the red spinning light. It was amazing.
Fish tales is also a great topper.

Yeah I actually restored a WH20 and left the topper off til I sold it.

Yeah I agree with u sir. For me anyway they make a pin look cheesy. Armor as well, just give me regular side rails and a nice clean cab. I mean TWD and BK3 and WW maybe AF ok they aren't all shit but even those I can take or leave.
Whirlwind, Attack From Mars LE, Black Knight Sword of Rage, Jurassic Park (DE), White Water, Dr. WHO, Twilight Zone Slot Machine Topper, Fire, Pinbot, High Speed, Last Action Hero... I like toppers that do something.

I do enjoy the simple ones also. I am not a huge f-14 fan, but it was awesome getting the lights going in a poorly lit arcade when you were 16 years old.

i picked up a dumpster high speed a while back. Total train wreck, but had the NOS topper plastic inside the cabinet in perfect shape. Go figure
I like all the old school ones the most, the newer ones today don't do anything for me. I've been grabbing them for years, they were cheap back in the day and just something more to collect. Hard to pick my favorite so I'll pick them all.

IMG_0226 (resized).JPGMy favorite is the six acrylic skulls forming a skull pile on top of my Scared Stiff, with each skull wired to the matching color insert in the middle of the playfield. The unlit skull in the pic is wired to the white "deadheads" insert. They cycle through six different patterns in the attract mode alone and, of course, light up or flash whenever the corresponding insert lights during gameplay.

I've been told of your random toppers on random games. I would say my favorite is bullwinkle on rocky...hilariously
My favorite topper has yet to be built! With that being said. The topper that made me buy an LE was seeing the MBr LE topper. I just had to get that machine, it looked so amazing. Before that I thought toppers were silly and stupid. Now, I kind of enjoy them.
My least favorite topper is the leaked image for Elvira 3. If it changes I'll eat crow. But, its just the crypt and gargoyles. And that to me is BORING! I rather put the topper from EATPM on it. As that at least to me is more appealing.
But, I think I'm going to make my own topper for the game. Just after I make my own topper for sinbad. Which I hope to start on soon. And then after sinbad my dream theme topper. Hardbody. But, Sinbad will be more fun and easier to make first.

That's because they are not toppers but lawn decorations. They're mean to be placed on the yard and look like they're coming out of the grass.
And no matter how you position the creech one, it either covers up the amazing backglass art, or its positioned to where you don't see the head and just the underside of hte sculpt. So yeah... I am inclined to agree with you on those.
They're used as toppers, but they really aren't.

No worries . I saw the lure in a hardware store and with the colors of it I thought it would be a perfect fit . For some reason the colors on my fish are richer and darker than other fish I've seen , like the one in the last picture . Not that I'm complaining .
