    In sorting through some parts I came across a box of stuff I ordered from 'Pinball Life' over 15 years ago, and in there is a 'tube' of 18 pin chips as photographed below. They're probably very useful, but being a bit of a total novice when it comes to doing circuit board repairs I'm totally lost as to what they're for, and I can't remember why I ordered them!

    Does anyone know what this chip is useful for? Maybe it's good for repairing the acid damage zone in Bally boards for example...?

    It's a transistor array used in wpc (and other) machines. Marco sells them

    Yes , for sure and the occasional slip of adjusting a switch and touching a lamp socket while the power is on.

    I've done it myself...
